what's the best c-drama for you?
It's more about video gaming than romance. It's been a long time since I watched it so I don't remember it too clearly, especially with the dramas I've been watching. It's kind of like "Go, Go Squid" where there are professional teams competing against each other. Besides that, it's basically a video gaming drama. I like video games. :-)

Why did they make the ML the second lead in the beginning and then the main lead in the middle? Weird. I don't like how they gave the SL and FL a "relationship" in the beginning and then it gets ruined by a scheming princess. The scheming princess really puts me off this show especially since he ends falling in love with the faker. Not my cup of tea ending. I don't like how the ML just stands there for every combat while everyone else fights. Did they really have to make him that "useless"? It's good to have a strong female lead but they made the ML way too "weak". Ugh. He looks pretty like a stone sculpture. His acting felt like he was actually a stone sculpture too.

what's the best c-drama for you?
I have watched a lot of C-dramas during the pandemic (ran out of kdramas), so much that I've forgotten a lot of the titles of the dramas. In 2020, I think the "The Romance of Tiger and Rose" was one of the better ones. It was good from beginning to end. That's what got me into Zhao Lusi shows. So far most of her shows, I found really engaging because of her chemistry with all her leads and the personality she brings into her characters. I like Janice Wu too after seeing her in "Skate into Love", the show was really engaging but the side stories really put me off. The second lead characters weren't too interesting and when other stories came into play, it just got a little annoying. I am usually not a fan of c-dramas but being on lockdown gave me little options for entertainment. There have been so many dramas but a lot of them left me unimpressed and dissatisfied. It might be a cultural thing. I sometimes don't like how some c-dramas, the "bad" guy gets a happy ending too. You have asked a very hard question. I tend to like a "slow burn" type of romance too, that comes natural. Sorry, it's just so hard a question. Oh and I loved "Oh My General", I'm a big fan of Sandra Ma. So many dramas to remember....

I watched an animated version of this drama, but I couldn't stand the female lead here... I found her very annoying
It’s her voice or way of speaking I don’t like… Also she looks older than she acts.

I don’t like the ML or his friends, he’s too toxic for the FL. She’s honest and straightforward where he’s a liar and a thief. He’s teaching her all the wrong things.

Strange... the FL lead disappeared in the second episode. Keep watching?
She changed her looks to look like her maid that died. . Yeah it’s weird.

For anyone who has seen this already when does she start to fall for “brother”
After she finds out that the first person she saw was him and not the other guy, that's when she started to accept her "feelings" for her "brother". She never once stopped calling him brother which is kinda creepy.

This is a drama I would never rewatch does the FL think the the ML is stone heart?
It's good enough to watch once. I don't know about the rewatch though. I just didn't like the overall story.

That's what opinions are for. Just because they don't want to comment about it doesn't mean it doesn't exist. Many people probably haven't even watched this show so of course they won't comment. There are plenty of negative comments about how boring it is and then there are comments about how great it is. Is it a great show? Not really. It's an ok show but definitely not great. Apparently it's from a comic or something. I don't read comics so I don't know anything from the "books". Books are different than tv. That's why I don't want to watch "The Game of Thrones" because I read the books and it veers off from the actual story. Jon Snow dies in the book but he doesn't die in the series. I love Jon Snow, so I can see why it's upsetting but it's a perfect example of how books and tv tend to change. I didn't like how they killed off all the good characters in "The Game of Thrones" either. I am sure that if I got anyone I knew to watch this show or any Chinese dramas, they would know what I meant but no one in my circle is interested.
