I'm usually not a second lead preferring type of person but in this drama, the second male lead is better than the lead in every way. He figured out she was girl right away. I am sure if he didn't meet her as a girl earlier, he would have figured out she was a girl too. The general is too stupid overall. How could he not figure out she was a girl when she was caught so many times doing girly things? Just because of that alone, his "feelings" towards her were more "gay" than anything because of his idiocy. He should just come out of the closet and accept that he likes a "guy" since he refuses to see her as a girl. Weird show. He'll probably end up leaving her for a guy when he comes out. Ridiculous. Wait since it's a period drama, he'll just have another boy on the side.
She should have ended up with the brother and taken revenge on both the mother and commander. The commander is just like his nasty mom. What’s right is only what’s convenient for them. Only their “feelings” matter.
It was good till about episode 23 or so and then it just got really tedious and tiresome. I just ended up skipping through a lot. I did not like how the ML was always leading the second female lead on the whole time. She was overly obsessive but he didn't help it much. Once he accepted the marriage agreement, it really went downhill for me after that. I would have been ok if his character died at the end, that's how much I just ended up not caring. It's a disappointment because I really did like the show in the beginning.
Even in fast forward, the female lead is almost intolerably dumb and a cry baby. If you want to watch a girl cry every episode over stupid crap, this is your show. Her “bodyguard” persona is downright laughable. It’s an embarrassment to portray this character as “strong” in any way. She is not believable as a character at all.
Kind of but not really... You get one kissing scene and the rest is innuendo. You won't be satisfied with this show if you expect it to be a romance in anyway. It's really about journalism and the cutthroat industry to get the big story.

The two mains are cute together in this version. I didn’t really get into the Korean version because of the big age gap between the actors and not a fan of the male lead. It’s just uncomfortable for me watching that version. This version has more age appropriate actors and they are hilarious. Dr. Jade is plan creepy. It was good enough to fast forward through but not interesting enough to watch the whole thing thoroughly. What is up with the main lead's pants? Is this guy stuck in the eighties? Ugly MC Hammerish pants. YUCK! Besides that, I am seriously sick of all these men playing around with the MF lead as if she's a toy. She should just dump them both and date someone outside the field they are in. Then, maybe the jealous women around them won't start messing with her career so much. Easily manipulated men are weak in my eyes. Both male leads are just too easy to manipulate then feel "sorry" after they get caught.
