I am not a fan of too many Chinese dramas portraying the women as stalkers to the point where they wear down the men to date them. It's harassment to the extreme. Is this normal? Are Chinese women that desperate for a man that they have to stalk them and harass them like crazy? It's weird since there are three million more men than women in China. They should have their pick of men.
Tried to like it but I just can’t. It got really boring and there was absolutely no sense or growth in the whole show. Not even remotely realistic. The moral of the story is spend all your money without any consequences. The girl had no money but he was able to buy so much stuff with luck and help from other people. Just all around weird and unsatisfying fantasy show. Too much brainlessness happening and yet somehow they ended up happily ever after. Lame.
Thank god I finally found a show that seems to be interesting. I’m really running out of good dramas. There have been a lot horrible or only ok dramas left over.
I don't like the romances he's been in lately. He should go back to some action shows and skip the romance, I am just not feeling it. Maybe put in a relationship lightly in some action show but these romance choices have made me not like him too much.
I don’t like the ML couple. They get far too much screen time for a two month fling. Why not more of the other couples? The ML and FL are too annoying. They shouldn't have added the other couples into the preview. I wouldn't have wasted my time skipping through the whole show trying to find clips of them. The other couples just know both of them separately and somehow that's a show.
Getting insanely boring to the point where I don't even like them together. She should've run away with the other guy, maybe then it'd be more interesting.
The family dynamic would have been good if the two "brothers" didn't want to hook up with their sister. Although, my least favorite character is the older brother who is technically the youngest person on the show. His acting isn't the best. It felt like how a lot of young actors with not a lot of experience and emotion play their characters. Just couldn't get into him at all. When he started hooking up with his sister, the show seems to center on them too much. It just got too damn boring with them. I am tired of fast forwarding through their scenes. Although, I do like the youngest brother the best. His storyline is good and the actor plays his character fairly well. I pretty much skipped to his scenes and the girl's father's scenes.
I didn’t mind the male lead too much. He’s got a brain injury and ptsd to contend with. The female lead was hard to put up with. I fast forwarded through much of. I’ve been through a lot of dramas and this is about average in comparison. Weak female leads don’t do much for me. Her mindset really didn’t make much sense to me. I’d give it a 5 out of 10.
Totally a male centric series. The men are getting the most action while the women are just side pieces/stories. Never get married and you don't have to deal with it. That's the moral of the story. Marriage is just a piece of paper tying you together financially. Just don't do it. Unless of course, you are doing it for the money, then don't expect it to be perfect.
U should read and watch the program that they made about him. He was not just ur typical bully. What his victims…
Look at all the bullying Korean shows of the "older" people beating up on the younger people like its normal. I blame the society for that. Who the hell beats up their coworkers just because they are the boss? How about the older women beating up on random people just because they are rich and can get away with it? Yeah, pick on the teenager when the grown ups on tv are far worse. That's some twisted morality. It's all about power in society.

Not talking about him. Talking about the show. I don't know why it even commented on him. Talking about the show. Since nobody was there, anyone can make wild speculations. I had plenty of creepy guys grabbing me in high school. It was disgusting. All the girls were no different, just letting it happen and going along with it. I blame it on bad parenting. Teach your kids better manners, especially guys. You should ostracize the parents especially in not teaching their "BOYS" better. Just from the type of shows Koreans have, bullying is a natural thing on TV for them.
Ok this show has gotten lame and boring even before the main was replaced for being a teenager “bully”. I personally don’t care, life changes after high school. I was bullied in high school but that was a long time ago. Kids do stupid things especially with other kids around. The ones who do nothing and just watch it all happen are just the same. They should have reprimanded him then, not ten years later pass any statute of limitations. Now it just looks like pettiness. They should have just stopped the making the show because it’s actually worse now. It was getting boring before but now it seems completely forced and fake. Did they change the script? The replacement main lead wasn’t a good choice. I still remember him from Mr. Queen and didn’t like his character in that show. I think the dislike of his character has transferred to this show. Either way, it’s all a hot mess now.
SIDE STORYLead Female (LF) is crushing on the 2nd male lead. They both have mutual feelings; however, he tells…
Yes, the second female lead is a truly horrible character. She’s pushy while pretending she’s not. She’s the best friend you don’t want to end having. She’d steal your boyfriend in a minute if she could and somehow blame you for it. That kind of friend is not worth anyone’s time. The second male lead is irritating in his own way (having twisted values and always acting like he doesn’t know what’s going on). He’s the pretend nice guy. These two characters are really fillers worth skipping through.
We have been trying to watch this but have dropped it twice. Really getting tired of the FL and the dumb things…
Yeah, the one eyed villain was kinda interesting. He was the perfect villain with the perfect ending. The love triangles were never triangles, just a couple of obsessive stalkers. The secondary romance was really cringe. I actually hated his obsession with her especially when I didn't really understand it. He wanted her but was mad at the guy who didn't want her. Lame. It got the point where I had to skip all their scenes because of how pathetic the guy was. The show was better in the beginning but gradually got tiresome with the characters changes. Although, I did like the ML. He was the only character that I didn't really get tired of.
It was a really good show but the way they made the female character become more naive and stupid instead of improving herself, she became more dumb. She’s the reason why everyone is getting hurt and always constantly saving her. How is she even a cop when the other women fight better than her? Wish they would have made her tougher.
The chemistry between the leads are completely off. It's like watching two stones kiss. The story was ok but the romance was uncomfortable to watch. The whole romance was forced and the female lead's personality got a little irritating with her stupid decisions.
He was probably the queen in a pass life. I doubt it though because the queen and him merged after she passed…
I remember that part too when the brother told him to not listen to his personal feelings in regards to the queen. That was in the beginning of the show. If you watch the extension of the show, you could tell they were attracted to each other since they first met before she was chosen to be his queen. They were both pleasantly surprised when they officially met each other. I am sorry others are disappointed because wasn't more "BL" than they wanted it to be.
I love the drama and I love the ending. But, I think it is because since the start, my question was more "what…
He was probably the queen in a pass life. I doubt it though because the queen and him merged after she passed out and he was still in a coma in his world. Her memories became apart of his memories. That's when he started "feeling" towards the king because of it was actually her "feelings" that merged into the body with him. It was two souls in one body and that's why he was "confused" for much of it. It wasn't his feelings but hers that expressed itself. She was already in love with the king from before. When he returned to his time, he was just happy they ended up happy. His feelings were really her feelings. That's why he was able to separate his feelings from hers in the end. Once he was separated from the queen, he could view it as an outsider. He cared about everyone but his "love" was her love. His braveness and weirdness helped the couple come together because obviously So young wasn't brave enough or strong enough to fight her family from trying to control the king. As for the king, I believe he had feelings for So Young before she tried to killed herself but he didn't trust her. The inside guy just brought everything out in the open for both of them. The queen and king were connected to each other from the beginning. He mistaken Hwa Jin for her from the beginning. Everything that happened, happened for a reason. That's where this show made sense for me.
