I'm still so amazed that they managed to get Hins Cheung, 七师傅 and 試當真 to come in as guest stars. It really adds so much fun to the watching experience, especially when you consider that 試當真 also did a (parody) video of Leap Day and 940920, continuing the storyline of their guest appearance in Episode 5 & 6.
My theory: Ka-Chung probably died once in 2014 and Chor-Ying "sacrificed" herself to save him. In that process, she is transported to the dimension that Yeesa is now in, just like how Yeesa did when she asked for one more chance to time-travel and save Ka-Chung in 2020.
I had the same thought too. I love Ka-Chung a lot in "Leap Day" and writer!Ka-Chung is just not what I signed…
Also if you have an instagram account and can read Cantonese, you can follow ~yautaitung or ~fongemantv, they are media analysts and have been talking about this drama a lot

If you know how to read and write Cantonese, you can join various HK forums (but they can be very toxic & their criticism can be harsh so just a head's up)
Some details that the director shared in a news article about Chor-Ning's grandfather in Episode 5, I will post…
The director shared that the actor playing Chor Ning's grandfather was supposed to read out the suicide letter himself but couldn't because he got a stroke early in the year (he's recovering well, don't worry!). That's why they could only get Cecilia Choi, the actress playing Chor Ning to read out the letter instead.
I think it would be much more heartbreaking if we did get a scene of the suicide letter read out in the grandfather's voice ;-(

If you know Taiwan's political situation in this time period that this drama is set in, you will be even more heartbroken. Read about the White Terror if you want to find out more.
The first five episodes were so bad but it actually gets better with every episode. It's pretty refreshing to see Jessica as a scatterbrain, in contrast to her many previous professional and composed roles. Moses' comedic acting is nothing new but I've always enjoyed his acting.
this stupid Deng Lun fiasco has really messed everything up...
I too think the grandfather has the ability to either travel between different dimensions or time-travel.
But as the plot involves parallel universes and the director said that everything is linked, I'm sure everything will make sense in the end.
