I'm not from HK but I have been watching HK dramas for many years so I totally agree with everything you've said. I have been really enjoying this drama, it's hilarious and light-hearted - a great introduction to BL/GL dramas for the general HK audience.

Same as you, I really appreciate the way the writers added local HK slangs and flavours into the drama! I've never watched the original so maybe I'm biased but I really think this drama should be appreciated on its own.

Yes, the drama has its own flaws and the pacing of the last few episodes is a little messed up but the great acting from the cast makes up for it.

This season is so much more complicated than the other seasons but I love the connections to cases in the previous seasons!

Worst drama ever, even worse than TVB's worst dramas! Absolutely no effort put into writing credible characters or making sure that the plot makes sense. It feels like they have recycled every single one of TVB's cliched plots from the 90s and mash them together into this unwatchable show.

For a 40-episodes drama, the pace is kinda fast and I actually enjoyed it! The best thing about the show is making me so emotionally invested in the two couples, the writing and chemistry in the couples helped us all to root for them. The quality of the show went down quite a bit in the last 10 episodes, the writing was messy and it felt like the writers didn't know what else to do.

I heard Liao Fan will be in this too? That's what AvenueX said.

I've watched Episode 13 and it's a different episode. 6.5 was released just after the Dark Villa episodes, before Achaland.

I watched on Dramacool but it's basically a recap of the funniest moments. There wasn't anything new.

There has only been 1 episode released last weekend.

Part 1 of Episode 2 was released this afternoon (31st December 2020) on the MGTV app.

If you are watching it on Youtube, then you have to wait till tomorrow (1st January 2021).

If I'm not wrong, there should have only been one episode released last week because all the episodes (except for Episode 13) are divided into Part 1 & Part 2.

I guess someone on MDL put in the airing dates based on the last season's but they haven't amended it yet now.
