This second episode was even worse in terms of the performances and editing. Only a few of these actors actually seem to be able to act. Most of them are terrible. The storyline is very much like a soap-opera, which isn't necessarily the kiss-of-death, but it's being executed in a third-rate manner. I don't think that this is for me...
When someone gives this a low score but a high score for some boring university BL... Oh well, I guess it's something…
BUT ITS NOT CUUUUTE OR SOFFFFT ENUFFFF!!! Some people can't get into it unless the MLs are falling into each other every 5 minutes between poop jokes...
I loved this show. It's my 2nd favourite BL, after ATOTS.

I think that I'm going to have to drop the series just because I can't enjoy watching something for only half of it and being annoyed by the other half. Hopefully, you'll be able to continue enjoying it, though. =)
Good thing that I didn't listen to all the negative comments here. This is indeed a good series. I am watching…
What a silly comment. "We are here to watch and not to criticize" ??? No one in their right mind thinks a TV show can't be criticised if they don't like it. Get real!

What made it silly, for me, was just how over the top it was and when you add in the fact that Pi is a dental student himself and sitting there with such terror, it was completely non-nonsensical.
Now I don't know is these HIStory series are strikt BL or not but if they are, instead of actual "normal" gay…
YAOI manga and novelisations, have historically been generated by women and consumed by women. With broadcast shows, though, this material reaches a far larger audience beyond its original audience and includes gay men. It is no longer the 'domain' of one type of viewer. Many gay men shun it for the way the more traditionally framed BLs carry what they see as stereotypical, offensive and misandrist elements. Other watch but, like the OP and others such as myself, have no hesitation on calling out what they see as harmful... especially to the young gay men living in isolation around the world who maybe seeing some of these stories and looking for some affirmation when all around them condemn them.
All over the world, people are standing up and objecting to the way they have been poorly portrayed by others. No one should be surprised that gay men are among them.
That's not to say that gay men can't be villainous in the context of a storyline, but the level of general toxicity employed to 'juice up' BL stories is offensive to many of us.
The ATOTS Rewatch Party will be on Episode 2 at 8;30 PM Bangkok Time, April 16th for anyone who cares to join. We'll be trying out a shared viewing via synctube for this episode. Everyone's welcome to join in! Please see the thread in the Recent Discussions Box for details! =)
As someone who have watch a lot of slice of life drama, yes, the drama is quite predictable. If you can predict…
I'm really glad you mentioned this. This series does have a slice of life feel to it, and that is unique in the BL industry. The typical BL setting is anything but an attempt to display things in any sort of realistic fashion.
Definition of Straw Man: "A straw man is a form of argument and an informal fallacy of having the impression of refuting an argument, whereas the proper idea of the argument under discussion was not addressed or properly refuted."
Example: "Honestly at this point we can't make tv shows portraying anyone in a negative way then. .. "
