They are officially not even a couple yet, so the informal pronoun would be too intimate. Khun (= mister) is rather…
Hopefully, someone better versed in Thai can can share. I don't think it has an affectionate term like the Japanese 'chan." I've seen vids of Max and Tul using "babe" or "baby" when being cute. Maybe Thai/Thais don't really use terms of endearment (?)
Same! I love MaxTul but idk why their intimate scenes in this drama do not interest me much. Sorawit and Tat,…
I would say that I prefer Tan and Bun to Korn and Knock. I see them as having far more realistic depth to them. Tat and Sorawit are just generic cutesy BL, to me. I'd be fine without their romance in this series. (I know minority view: LOL!)
One change I hope they make from the novel to the series is that Inspector Aem gets a boyfriend on the show. In…
I might be in the minority but I hope M stays as is. A minor peeve of mine with BLs is when whole friend groups discover their orientations en masse. (Thinking of My Engineer and others)
Two types of people seem to complain about the development of the relationship between Tan and Bun. 1. People…
I agree that the show has stuck a balance between romance and mystery. Healthy same-sex relationships in the real world need more than sex and romance to have staying power. Tan and Bun are exploring shared values and viewpoints as they work on this case. As much as I liked the drama of Korn and Knock, Tan and Bun already have a lot more going for them in terms of character depth and more realistic bonding experiences, IMO
I want the four of them to live in that cottage together until the boys go off to college. Then Bun and Tan can…
In my mind, there's an alternate universe where that happens with Max and Tul, a la one of Tul's fave songs of Ed Sheeran's: "Thinking Out Loud." Max plants and tends the garden and Tul cooks for them into their twilight years.
No actually the remark Tan makes about getting his revenge is kind of a joke/teasing, like M came up with this…
Agreed. Rewatching it helped me make better sense of it. M was scoping out Por's place looking for clues about the disappearance of Tan and Bun and seeing Tan get taken by his fellow officer probably opend up M's eyes to the point where he saw he needed to choose a side. I wish they had stated that a little more clearly and cut some time for such from some of the eps overly long (IMO) reaction shots in this episode.
I wonder if it's too much to hope that there might be a sequel series before Tul's contract expires this year... on the assumption that he'll not likely be able to go to New York any time soon.
I watched Ep 11 and wanted to ask about Inspector M's motivation to help Tan and Bun. M helped them to get revenge on Bun (?) I don't really understand. Did I miss something in translation?
