this goes into the Tonhon Chonlatee slot, and seeing how shitty TC was, I was worried they'd fuck 1000Stars as…
Given how long it took for this series to see the light of day, I really think that those involved had time to put great care and attention into everything from the script to cast selection, locations, etc. I have the impression that this is a real labour of love on P"Aof's part and his dedication to the project was contagious.
According to one interview show, Earth put a lot of work into his character analysis of Phupha. It also seems that Earth especially wants the show to be successful for Mix's sake. Earth wanted Mix for the role from the get-go and advocated for Mix.
The people involved really seem to have invested themselves into bringing this story to life and I believe it shows. It's charm and soul have elevated 1000 Stars into my Number 1 BL spot. Other shows have been more complex or dynamic but this... this is so heartwarming and tender. It's the gay fairytale love story that I wish I could have seen when I was young. Truly special, IMO.
I'm sad because I was liking it. But I just can't. It's too much noise. Why they put sound effects literally every…
Some people have resorted to muting the sound and reading subtitles. If you're truly enjoying it, except for the sounds, it might be worth it to try...
Ok I'm getting addicted to this show. Phupha/Earth stole my heart! The way he stares/smiles at Tian...The novel…
This was interesting to read! It shows how thoughtfully they've approached the series to make that change. If Tian had continued to be an entitled ass up to this point, I would have stopped watching.
I thought it was brilliant, albeit with a few petits défauts...
Absolutely. While the TanBun relationship was my favourite part (partly because I think Max and Tul showed that they play very different characters from Korn and Knock) there was so much to enjoy. Jane's feature episode damned near tore my heart out...
I've read this position a few times (from different people) and, while I can't discredit it, I would say that…
Whereas, to me, the episode played more like some drug induced nightmare version of the original concept trailer. I still liked Gene, so I'll hang in for a couple more eps. to see if it grows on me. If not: c'est la vie...

Some could leave because they don't like having their views challenged but others could leave because they find the parody to be so heavy handed as to be even more irritating than what they're parodying, in the first place...
This is a perfect example of toxic labelling and exclusion. There is no such thing as a difference between BL…
I loved both MoD and DBK. Even Knock's internal conflicts publicly played in a somewhat reasonable fashion in TWM. (I could also be shamelessly biased toward MaxTul: LOL!) 1000 Stars is really working for me because I find it utterly charming without being cheesy. It's kicking tropes to the curb, to boot!
I hope it turns out that Lovely Writer will deliver for most people in the way you've described. I was stoked for it from the concept trailer, but the first episode felt (to me) like a fun house distortion of that. If the feel of it remains the same over the next episode or 2, I'll have to pass on the rest.

I see it the same way you do.
