This is a perfect example of toxic labelling and exclusion. There is no such thing as a difference between BL…
In others words, those authors wanted to fetishise us and for us to keep our yaps shut about it. I think not.
Few would dare sanction a genre of literature based on, say, an ethnicity that was comprised of authors from outside that ethnic group these days. And if any did, I'd be the first to protest that.
Thankfully, more and more productions seem to try trying to move past some of the more borderline-offensive tropes.
I swear if i didn't check the cast i wouldn't have known joo ji hun was there.
Even as I watched, I only recognised him when he was playing the school aged flashbacks. As the adult Jin Hyuk, he was transformed... and looking damned good!!! xD
In my opinion, the show was doing extremely well but the last episode was RUSHED. They could've executed it a…
I get what you're saying. I posted this not long after the Finale:
"It did have it's flaws and misses. For me, the finale was the weakest episode with plot holes large enough to smuggle out a corrupt congressman (pun intended) and the cheese platter was served in the last few minutes as every shipper had their dreams come true.
Despite that, the project as a whole, to me, felt like something bold, fresh and interesting. Personally, I don't look forward to another rinse and repeat series about love at the University. With so many of those, the cheese being served had gone stale, indeed...
I also found that this series had so any great performances that more than made up for the weaknesses in the plot line. To each their own, but I hope we'll see more series like this, as opposed to less."
i read numerous comments complaining about the sound effects in the first episode, so felt the need to write this.…
I've read this position a few times (from different people) and, while I can't discredit it, I would say that they're running an enormous risk with driving people away from the show. The shade will be lost if all that is left are viewers who love that sort of thing.
Yes, it is so nice to have a mature series where people actually act like adults in the real world.
Have you seen Grey Rainbows? While they start in school it quickly addresses topics in a largely mature way. (At 53, I enjoy mature representations, myself.) It's really good but, fair warning, is a tear jerker.

Mix is studying to be a vet so he's referred to as a doctor.
In Canada, veterinary practice is usually entered into by people with a passion for working with animals. It's a different discipline from human medicine and is popular, I think, partly because animal companions (pets) are popular with Canadians. (Of course, there's also livestock farming.)
***LIGHTNING FLASH*** Wouldn't a series with Earth and Mix running a Veterinary clinic be great?! XD

I don't know how comfortable Earth and Mix are with getting shipped, but I'm pretty sure the floodgates have opened!
Joey, I don't suppose you can tell what characters Earth traces onto Mix's back in this video?
