I may not be the best person to comment about this, as I'm only starting ep 5 but I think Minhwan is FL's long-time friend from high school (based on the flashback wherein he overheard about being adopted).
Not sure about Hari's mother though, I think she's there to complicate things... so far, that's what she is doing. 😅
Edit: You'll see in Ep 5 that Minhwan has a more relevant role than being a long-time friend.
It's funny how FL has a black monkey keychain in her car and ML's grandma told him earlier in the first ep that he must not meet someone born in the Year of the Black Monkey. Well, haven't seen the front part of the keychain yet, and haven't finished the ep yet. Maybe it just looks like a monkey from the back. 😅😂
I was worried of Ina after she found out about Gwiju's possible death, that she might blame herself somehow. But, after seeing the preview for ep11 I'm not worried anymore.
