And what's wrong with basic plot , this drama is based on 2011 webtoon and why people love complexity? From the…
I personally have no problem with it but the majority of this comment section clearly does. For me, as long as there's good casting/acting, even the simplest plot can still be entertaining
From what I've seen, Sohyun tends to play more serious characters. To a point where I started wondering if she picks those kind of characters on purpose or she unknowingly turns them that way. But this character is very bright and carefree and it's refreshing to see this kind of personality being shown through her. The plot may be basic but idc, loving it so far.
is a nice start and I looove Kim So Hyun, she is one of my favorites but the fact that the best friend have a…
The 2FL will probably start falling in love with her other highschool friend or whoever is her love interest, so at that point she won't be very affected by her best friend dating her old crush. Like the other person said, their reunion 10 years later looks more like admiration from past feelings than a genuine crush
I agree with you about liking these episodes better!! Honestly the mystery stuff is very very NOT interesting…
Glad to see I'm not the only one here for the characters/lighthearted stuff more than the mystery. Usually I do enjoy a good murder mystery sideplot but this one feels so confusing that at this point I've just shut my brain off at those parts and am just happily enjoying all the silly interactions between everyone lol
A lot of the comments are saying how the plot dragged in this week's episodes so I must be in the minority here to say that I actually liked that they focused more on the romance for once. A part of me kind of dreads the investigative stuff because it gets pretty stressful, so I'm not complaining about the plot dragging lol. We have 6 more episodes for that to get solved.
I loved the jealousy scenes a lot, I get people didn't like how the conflict just got dragged for a whole episode but I think it's an opportunity for Jiung to start acknowledging his feelings and also gives space for some longing on both sides. I also finally understand the Ko Won hype now. But team ML all the way.
As a massive fan of Seventeen, I don't think Seungkwan (or any idol) is suited for this kind of show where the…
Good point. I've been watching The Genius and it has a similar ensemble to this one, containing both academic and entertainer players, but their games aren't just academic based, which allows for other skills to shine through. If they want to create a balanced cast for this show, they should incorporate more balanced games, instead of making the majority math focused. Overall I think every casted player should have a skill that can be utilized, even if their main profession is being an entertainer. Not sure how to better word it but in s1, entertainers like Kyungrim and Seungkwan were like sheep following their leader. If this show wants to have lighthearted moments, they should try casting multitalented entertainers (in terms of strategy), especially for a survival based game.
I really hope this time they invite more idols thoo or more entertainer, i think last season the entertaining…
As a massive fan of Seventeen, I don't think Seungkwan (or any idol) is suited for this kind of show where the entire thing is based on intelligence to survive. Idols would do better in more variety type shows or even sporty types, but the games in The Devil's Plan require a lot more smarts than typical games. It would be better if they focused less on entertainer-style casts and instead cast more high-intelligence players that can problem solve well.
I understand your point but I want to argue that connections among players was also part of the game. Dongjae…
Just imagine how much more interesting the upcoming games would have been if the smarter players actually survived :( The first few games should have been individual-based to eliminate the weaker players imo
As other viewers have pointed out, this drama feels like it was written years ago but adjusted to fit recent times.…
The one thing I have mixed feelings about is the ML secretly putting a tracker on the FL's phone. I know the reason is that her safety is possibly compromised but idk he barely knew the girl before doing it. Letting her know or asking her to do it would have been better. Another thing I think a modern kdrama writer may not have done, especially since it's the ML.
But the first thing I thought of immediately after he did that is a future scene of him trying to find Mijin, only to see that her location is right beside him, in the prosecutor's office. Or something similar where he sees Im Sun where Lee Mijin should be. I have a feeling that tracker will be how he finds out that both of them are the same person.
As other viewers have pointed out, this drama feels like it was written years ago but adjusted to fit recent times. Just overall feel of the drama. Compared to other recent releases, the writing feels older. But I'm not complaining, I'm enjoying this drama a lot.
I wish they had somehow linked back Gwijoo & Dahae's first meeting on the beach in the later episodes to really wrap things up and make everything feel full circle like with the time traveling and stuff. Also why was Dahae wearing a suit on the beach?
Can someone explain the relationship between the king, Wanning, and Lord Cheng? They keep saying Lord Cheng is Wanning's brother but I thought the king was also Wanning's brother, is he not?
