I binged watched this in 2 days, did not expect to like this show as much as I did but wow. I see a lot of comments are saying it's scripted/forced and usually that kind of thing really annoys me in dating shows because I keep paying attention to it and how people obviously behave a certain way for the camera, but I honestly barely felt it in this show. Maybe it's because they're all still young and relatively naive with less of a filter, but their interactions didn't seem fake at all. It's also a huge help that they're all the same age, since age is a big thing in Korea, so that no doubt helped them become close instantly. It was refreshing to see how openly affectionate they became to their crushes near the end, compared to older adults in dating shows that are more reserved in displaying affection. I am so happy for the one currently existing couple, I was rooting for them from the very beginning and I loved every single scene of theirs. I wish I watched this show earlier :( the age is what held me back but it turned out to be what made this show so special <3

I just started episode 1 but it's so funny the way the first boy keeps staring right into the camera whenever a new participant enters the classroom it's like he's breaking the 4th wall 😭 it's my first time seeing someone look directly into the camera while on a dating show it's a little unnerving but funny

The FL reminds me of Jennie

One of my fav tropes is the FL getting with her crush/red flag bf's best friend, so I'm lowkey rooting for Chanseong's friend even though he almost definitely won't be endgame lol. But I'll be happy if Jiyu ends up with Doha too. Just as long as it's not her current boyfriend

Just started the drama but I must say the wasp bites on Li Si looked incredibly realistic. Looking at them, I started wondering if he actually got stung lol

Xu Yan annoyed me in this drama a lot, and I'm sure she annoyed many other watchers too for the way she continuously treated her boyfriend and occasionally her friends, but I have to give it to the writers her ending was PERFECT. Absolutely perfect, I was actually shocked when I realized how they finished her storyline because if this was another drama, they would have definitely given her the typical 'happy' ending but I'm glad this one didn't. It fits so so well, especially since part of it also managed to solve pretty much all the minor problems she was having from the very beginning. I don't think a realistic ending has ever made me as satisfied as this one has.

Everyone's confused about why Seokryu is treating her ex so much better than anyone who saw their lover kiss someone else but I think we are just missing a lot of context. The latest episode showed us that he has clearly been there for her during one of her worst times, so she probably has gratitude for that, which is why she's tolerating him so much. A lot of her backstory in the US has only been shown in small glimpses, so the full story may not be what we think it is right now

I'm assuming they're doing the whole "I love you more so I won't tell you so you won't worry" meanwhile the ex clearly has already known since the US. The same thing she's doing with her family, hiding it from them because she doesn't want them to worry.

I think Li Lianhua/Xiangyi is one of the best characters to ever exist. I would have recovered from this drama a lot better if I didn't get so attached to him :(

Because there's a difference in what we saw. We saw the ex make out with someone at a party, but with the ML's mum the scenes were her smiling at the other guy and getting into his car or hugging. That one has more of a chance of being explained with context

There has to be more context with their breakup because that just doesn't make sense. She's also treating him way better than anyone would if they saw their ex kissing someone.

Looking from the ex's perspective, I would be so mad if my boyfriend acted calm and agreeable in front of me but emotional and full of life when with his female best friend. I get that they're trying to push the whole "one true love" concept with the main leads but ouch that's disrespectful towards the ex

The 12 year age gap surprisingly does not show that much

The boy in the flashback can't be the ML bc he looked significantly older than the FL. We know in ep2 that the ML is younger

same, i was hoping they'd both start falling in love in their thirties instead of the whole "i have been in love with you since we were kids". it's cute, but I've been seeing it a lot recently, i want something new

But realistically, there's nothing that could cure him and he only had a few days of life left. I don't think it's possible he's still alive :( but we know that's what LLH wanted in the first place so I'm just going to accept it

I saw a comment say that in the novel, Duobing ended up finding Lianhua, who had turned blind and was losing his memory. He took care of him until he died. I don't know why I'm so sad, we literally knew from the first episode that he was going to die soon and that he was ready to die too. I am so heartbroken
