open ending so it's up for interpretation, for me it was a very bittersweet one so i cried a lot but it depends…
It's hard to tell if it's a bad ending or not, the last scene could either be bad or good depending on the watcher. You just have to take the clues given and decide for yourself.

Title Culinary Class Wars Spoiler
I really want Triple Star to make it to the finals, but I doubt it because the show is clearly going with a Black Spoon Chef vs White Spoon Chef finale :/

chef Anh has arrogant vibes yet still looks polite at the same time
I agree, it sometimes annoys me but he really proves himself with his cooking and his ideas/leadership so I can't blame him lol

The more I watch this show, the more I wonder how insane the budget must be. Every time a new round is revealed, I keep getting surprised at how much MORE money must've been spent for this show

Anyone else think Gao Yunlang and Chen Mo are so queer coded? I feel like if it wasn't for the Chinese censorship,…
After watching more eps I take it back, they absolutely are

Anyone else think Gao Yunlang and Chen Mo are so queer coded? I feel like if it wasn't for the Chinese censorship, they definitely would have had a loveline. Their high school conflict, Yunlang helping Chen Mo first when he and Yunlang's girlfriend fell into the water, etc. There's a lot of potential between them. I feel like the scriptwriters may have intended for it too, just made it very subtle so it doesn't get caught.

The 'jokes' about Tomo's skin are getting on my nerves. It's so clear he feels uncomfortable by them and he's probably heard them all his life. In my eyes, he's the best looking male participant there and his tan makes him look even better

I never thought about it but it's pretty true that Japan and Korea have completely different mannerisms lol thanks…
Thank you for the explanation! <3

I'm pretty new to Japanese culture and mannerisms, so I just wanna see if this thing I noticed is typical of Japanese people or if it's just Jungo's character. There were two times that Jungo got hurt, at the park and while they were making out in his house, with Hong being partially responsible. When she asked him if he was hurt, both times he just paused and said yes straightforwardly. Usually, in kdramas or in western shows, if someone got hurt and another person was involved in it happening, the hurt person would just brush it off and say they're fine, prompting the other to find the wound and fuss over them. I'm so used to seeing that behavior that I was surprised to see Jungo immediately admit he was hurt, both times.

I love the drama and the leads, but there’s just something about how MUCH Seunghyo loves Seokryu that it makes…
Glad im not the only one who felt this way omg. The intensity in Seunghyo's eyes compared to the lack of in Seokryu's is a little off putting. Like, you can tell from his gaze that he's madly in love with her, but her expressions haven't changed much from when she treated him as a friend. I also wonder if this is a script or acting issue

I don't know why the offscreen chemistry is better than the onscreen chemistry for me.It would have been better…
I agree.. their chemistry as friends was amazing and right now it just feels like friendship but with kissing😭 And yes, when it comes to the romance, it feels like we are lacking more of Seokryu's POV. They highlighted her for her struggles with cancer and her passion of course, but when it comes to romance it's like Seunghyo is the main character and Seokryu just responds to it

I binged watched this in 2 days, did not expect to like this show as much as I did but wow. I see a lot of comments are saying it's scripted/forced and usually that kind of thing really annoys me in dating shows because I keep paying attention to it and how people obviously behave a certain way for the camera, but I honestly barely felt it in this show. Maybe it's because they're all still young and relatively naive with less of a filter, but their interactions didn't seem fake at all. It's also a huge help that they're all the same age, since age is a big thing in Korea, so that no doubt helped them become close instantly. It was refreshing to see how openly affectionate they became to their crushes near the end, compared to older adults in dating shows that are more reserved in displaying affection. I am so happy for the one currently existing couple, I was rooting for them from the very beginning and I loved every single scene of theirs. I wish I watched this show earlier :( the age is what held me back but it turned out to be what made this show so special <3

I just started episode 1 but it's so funny the way the first boy keeps staring right into the camera whenever a new participant enters the classroom it's like he's breaking the 4th wall 😭 it's my first time seeing someone look directly into the camera while on a dating show it's a little unnerving but funny

One of my fav tropes is the FL getting with her crush/red flag bf's best friend, so I'm lowkey rooting for Chanseong's friend even though he almost definitely won't be endgame lol. But I'll be happy if Jiyu ends up with Doha too. Just as long as it's not her current boyfriend

Just started the drama but I must say the wasp bites on Li Si looked incredibly realistic. Looking at them, I started wondering if he actually got stung lol

Xu Yan annoyed me in this drama a lot, and I'm sure she annoyed many other watchers too for the way she continuously treated her boyfriend and occasionally her friends, but I have to give it to the writers her ending was PERFECT. Absolutely perfect, I was actually shocked when I realized how they finished her storyline because if this was another drama, they would have definitely given her the typical 'happy' ending but I'm glad this one didn't. It fits so so well, especially since part of it also managed to solve pretty much all the minor problems she was having from the very beginning. I don't think a realistic ending has ever made me as satisfied as this one has.

Everyone's confused about why Seokryu is treating her ex so much better than anyone who saw their lover kiss someone else but I think we are just missing a lot of context. The latest episode showed us that he has clearly been there for her during one of her worst times, so she probably has gratitude for that, which is why she's tolerating him so much. A lot of her backstory in the US has only been shown in small glimpses, so the full story may not be what we think it is right now
