Latest update of mah heart after the 4th episode - it fell off my body at a certain scene! (y'all know which) and so I realized that even if they just dance about a real kiss throughout the show without getting to the real thing, I'll still be more hot and bothered than I am at any other drama's real scenes. Why? coz Kim Jae Wook's existence is hot in itself and honestly I never got to see even this much with him in any other drama before.
Hahaha! Welcome to the family. We've all gone through what you're going through; that's why I'm still here after…
I have so much to discuss about this drama. But I can't. At least, not for now. Like you said you find solace in coming to this forum and looking at the comments and discussing. I am just the opposite, it gives me withdrawal pangs. T-T Now no other Asian drama could fill that void. So, taking a short break from watching them at all. Going back to watching some American series for the sake of distraction. It's a thing i do when a drama absorbs me and i can't let go. Hope I could recover soon. Thank you for your lovely and helpful comments.
This drama is most awaited because... PMY, yes.. but more than that I think Kim Jae Wook's first time lead is garnering more attention. 'Cause off course he's bae! Therefore I wonder why dramaland took so long to get here. Not buying into the the better-late-then-never crap!
the casting director or whover casts the actor for Goodbye my princess originally didn't want to cast him because…
Glad that the original cast didn't work out. This was perfect! Especially him! This adorable dork stole my heart. He is so cute and talented! He immortalised Li Cheng Yin.
Gosh! I think I may soon have to eat my words about LCY not being close to despicable. I am getting to new stuff!…
I mean, he became an obsessive crackhead during the last episodes. I still think he was less corrupted as GSW. All the killing of the siblings and the convoluted politics involved in it sullied him more.
aww myy gawd! The last scene was absolutely breathtaking. I mean literally, I forgot breathing for a moment. LCY walking (wandering) in the dessert, XF in that gorgeous red dress waiting for shifu ; the first episode scene when they both met for the first time. And then... cue in the beautiful end-track. O my lorrd! what's this situation! How am I to get outta it! I am getting dehydrated from crying buckets! Gonna have a bad hangover of the show.
I watched this show in four days, forgot my life during this time. Hated that I had other stuff to do and hence can't devote my 24 hrs into watching it. Watched a few scenes more than once. What a journey. Gotta hydrate now!
o my god! please don't do something despicable LCY! I am not at hating-you yet! First time trying to understand an on-the-fence character and is he gonna ruin my psychoanalysing efforts!
Did Li Chen Yin actually love Xiao Feng when he was Gu Xiao Wu? Or was it just an act to get her trust? I'm watching…
oh, but he did! He didn't plan to fall for her and wanted to use her just as a gateway to his mission. But everything that happened along the way made him love her.
See, he was sorta using Se Se too (though I am a lil confused about when the using began since in the beginning it seemed as if his affection was genuine), he felt a tiny bit guilty for that, hence all the covering-ups and letting-goes for the nasties she did. But he was not acting like a crazy person with the thought of losing her.
When the second time he's fallen hard for her all over again (where I am at now), he's acting like his previous self. I think that's his true nature. He's selfish, yes, but so is almost everyone else in this show, including XF. He planned to marry and take her to the safety before the strike on the danchis because he was selfish to think that protecting only her is enough (that kind of love, you see). He loved her and wanted to have her beside him, Though it was painful for her but also was the only way of saving her. He didn't abandon his plan for her because his revenge was important too. The environment where he was brought up in taught him nothing better than manipulating for bigger purpose. He felt horrible afterwards and was ready to do anything, but it was too late.
His is the most complex character in this drama. This is the first time in a situation like this, I don't hate the ML. I think he deserved what he got but he, according to me, is nothing near to despicable. I am usually a black and white kinda person. There's no grey for me. But this one's different.
p.s. did you see the new released epilogue on yt. It's cute and I'll watch it later. Want to watch this pair in another drama. But I'll watch it thinking that it's a different show, or else it would completely kill the mood of the show for me. You know how much I am sobbing watching this one and then everything turning into a la la land will be an insult to XF's sacrifice and I my tears (lol). And I am too one with this show for that kind of disconnect.
I think Li Chen Yin's voice could be Chen Xing Xu's actual voice. Listen to his singing. The voices sound similar.
Even if the voices are dubbed and their original voices are beautiful too (the song), I would give credit to the voice actors for bringing out all the emotions in me, even the ones I didn't know I had.
This is the best drama I've ever, ever watched (I'm a five year veteran of Korean and Chinese dramas). The obsession…
o my god! I am so jealous. You know, lately, I've thinking about quitting my life and other important stuff to learn foreign languages for the sake of enjoying dramas!

LCY: Why!
Me: Uhhh… 'cause you've turned into a royal douche (pun intended)!
