This show got from being sweet to infuriating in just 1 episode and now it keeps getting worse. I hate Anong and I hate that she's getting rewarded for the villainy she's been pulling. Poor Chantorn. What the hell!
Girl turned into a total Na'grai. And here I was, defending her whenever anyone called her a rich pampered brat. No girl, you were so sweet. Won't be able to love her or hope happy ending for her anymore.
Written by 4 writers, and it showed. The parts excluding the fantasy/magical realism/fever dream despite of its inconsistency and illogic had a reality as basis. The characters were 3 dimensional and flawed, the comedy was most of the time landing, the villain may have not been menacing to the viewers, but he was a figure of hopelessness and futurelessness to the characters. It was good. I read comments about how the actors said it's not primarily a BL, BL is just a part of it. And I believe them. I could see the idea of a story even if the execution was floundering. In spite of the comedy, the atmosphere was bleak. How do you get out of a cyclic, compounding debt-trap? Other than Jack and Hoy, everyone is selfish as characters would be in this condition. I liked this story.
Then came the tsunami of the ridiculousness and that last episode.
About the last episode, firstly, it felt like the momentous battle of Breaking Dawn 2, it's all in your head. The stakes were shown as high as the sky when there was no stake to begin with. It was just another pastime of the mighty and madcap, the 4 horsemen.
Secondly, given the chain of incidences and the severity of the status quo, i was expecting at least 1 death. I know all the characters were beloved and no one should be destined for death, yet, that's how things were transpiring. But as usual, the ending was sweet but not suitable. Suitable to and predictable for the writing travesty it was.
Having said all this, I was entertained, yes, even in the most batshit scenarios. It was a bit of a bumpy ride, but it still had a story to bungle.
No need to talk about Yin-Way chemistry; it was moony as usual. And War was my moon, his acting making me forget what's fair-unfair. But my favorite character is Tattoo.
Pretty sure this vile woman will be forgiven in the end. This is one of my most hated Lakorn tropes. Create these despicable characters and then serve them with 0 comeuppance.
I am at episode 8 and I am gonna say this, this is my favorite Yaya character. I have watched almost all of her lakorns and she is a fab actress, but I am not a fan of the characters she plays except for Kleun Cheewit. But my God! this is making me wanna have her as my gf. She's so cute and naughty and playful and her expressions are just 🥰 And Tor's reactions to her flirting is also so good acting. SO far whenever these 2 are on screen interacting with each other i can't stop smiling from ear to ear and my heart is a butterflying mess💓
Just saw the trailer and 1. Sure Joss-Fluke in a 2025 GMM project when their last year's is still in production purgatory. Hope this will release soon. 2. I wanted to see Mix as the town bicycle from the moment I saw him in only friends. So, thanks, GMM🌹 3. The trailer looked like it wanted to be only friends so bad but missed the mark in looking natural. Just quickly threw together something at the last minute of release, right GMM? 4. Yasss Boston!!! 5. How will I wait for this! Please release soon🥺 6. Only friends is the new our skyy and i am not complaining.
I just started and already loving Yaya-Tor chemistry and the Emma vibe, but if my friends or anyone else told me I look bad in something I'll still keep wearing it if I love it and I think I look good in it.
