I'm sure you all have read the plot summary! So I'm going to make this short. I am quite (VERY) shocked to see that no one has reviewed this movie.

My reason for watching this movie was simply because I was very bored and YT commenters seemed to enjoy it very much.

The movie Love is a romantic comedy and i can reassure you that it is very well heartfelt. You feel the essence of each character even though there are many and I was surprised at the quality of the cast. It's no joke. A lot of the actors in this movie are famous in Taiwan. Mark Chao (Black and White), Ivy Chen (Skip beat, Black and White) and Ethan juan (Fated to love you) are pretty big names! So it's a hot cast ;) Each character has their own romantic story and although it is a comedy, there are moments of sadness which are reflected in the soothing ost "Fang Qing Dian" which CANNOT fail to capture the tone of the film. In addition to this the opening song by Hebe ???: LOVE really captured my attention... i felt that it was perfect for the storyline of the movie.

Overall "LOVE" is a light hearted comedy with a slight serious tone, cleverly interwoven into the lives of the characters who somehow are connected to each other. This a movie that is well worth your time and is seriously underrated!

To Be Honest: I watched this movie because of Han Hyo Joo.

Story Line: It may not be the most original story but the performance is well executed which makes this movie a good balance of light heartedness and serious drama. The overall pace is good. The romance and the way the writer intertwined serious drama with light hearted comedy is a great catch for the movie. It makes it an enjoyable experience.

If you are looking for:
A. Cute and funny romance
B. A crazy and hilarious female lead
C. A stubborn, hot-headed and rude male lead
D. Action including Fire fighters and teamwork
E. A bit of drama and curing each others ‘incurable’ scars

Then this is a movie for YOU.

Acting/Cast:
I’d like to point out the great acting from Han Hyo Joo and Go Soo. Actually one of the movie's strongest points goes to the acting.

This is the first time seeing Go Soo in a movie and he gave a good impression, i thought that he was expressive through his actions instead of words as his character isn’t one that voices his real thoughts and that is what made the movie that little bit deeper and special.

Also the second leads were pretty cute and animated the movie. A special remark for Kim Sung Oh because i remember him in ‘secret garden’ and ‘the man from nowhere’ in which his performances were noticeable and i really want him to get a main lead as he is a pretty good actor and deserves it. Each and every one of his roles always surprise me as they are always different and each time he pulls through it perfectly.

And obviously Han Hyo Joo was beautiful and it was great to see her on screen as a bubbly, strong willed and hilariously persistent character.

Music: i don’t really remember much but i did notice one tune. It was a bubbly cute music to suit the cuteness of the finale.

Overall: A well written script with the addition of a great cast with a crazy and hilarious female lead and a macho, stubborn and hot-headed male lead with the action of the hilarious fire fighter team. I’d say you are set up for a great and lovable experience, well worth the watch and re-watch.

Hope you enjoy and hope this was helpful :D

In a sentence this drama is:
A bittersweet love story that will have you both smiling and crying by the end of the drama.

We start off with a 17 year old Sakutaro Matsumoto AKA Saku crying his heart out and then we switch to a 34 year old Saku who is searching for a place in the past where he can finally let go of his beloved Aki's ashes and the pain of his memories. Ultimately, he does all of this to move on seventeen years after her death. He is trying to escape a meaningless life filled with emptiness.

As he searches for that place he recalls the events of his past and it's like we are able to watch two drama's. One about his past and another where the present catches up to him.

The pace is perfect, nothing was rushed or is too slow, this is an important factor which I feel makes a drama the all the more enjoyable. Leading on from that, the time of the past and the future is perfectly interwoven together making a perfect crossover by the end of the drama. You really feel a whole drama instead of two parts... The past and the present become one and it's like the two pieces complete and merge together.

But don't get me wrong. It's a happy drama. It's a sad drama. Just like the present and the past is merged, so are these feelings of happiness and sadness.

The rewatch value is a six because some are brave enough to go through this roller coaster of feelings however others cannot... I belong to the latter group...

The acting in this drama is phenomenal, you can really feel the emotions, the characters, the essence of the past and the hope for the future. This is aided by the soundtrack which enhances the feelings experienced through this drama... And whilst some may dismiss this drama as a simple terminal disease love story designed to make you cry. It's a lot deeper than that. This is a story of acceptance, moving on and questions how to get over the death of a loved one.
