Why did I just find out this drama-!?!??? I'm in for Meng Zi Yi and Li Yun Rui!

I feel like the culprit is the actual son of Sa Eon's dad, the real Baek Sa Eon. He somehow turned into a psychopath, so the family replaced the son to maintain the family's reputation.

I also feel that who Sang Woo met in that abandoned place when he was a kid is the real Baek Sa Eon. This is just a speculation.

And I think, it is also possible that he is not just the culprit. There is another bigger person behind everything, someone we possibly already met yet, someone who also wanted to destroy Baek Sa Eon (since according from their first investigation, the caller most probably could be from an organization because of the type of phone he used).

undecided whether i'd watch this or not, i'm not yet ready to see ryusei as a red flag character 😭 i dropped the kdrama at ep5, but i'd like to try watching this one perhaps by the end of its airing date

Just a little detail I just noticed!
In Episode 2 (21:23), the ghost in the bathroom who scared Nurse Yeong Ji is actually Hye Won, the tall woman. Later on, she appeared near the Light Shop, where Hyun Ju noticed her (26:53).

Does it mean, she's actually the first one to remember what happened (aside from, most possibly, Ji Yeong)?
Does it mean the Light Shop was just near the hospital where they were all in, within their unconsciousness? (judging from how Hye Won came from the hospital to the dark alley)
Then, why is Hye Won the only one who transforms? At first, we thought that she might be a devil not until Episode 5, it seems impossible. I'm also starting to think that she's also the one inside Seon Hae's house...

PS. These are just the questions and speculations I had. I'm still on the half part of Episode 5.

Wow, such a unique series! I just finished EP4 and was quite confused with the characters and the sequence of events at first. I can't tell whether who is alive or who is dead, or if an event is the "past" or the "present," but I can wait for the things to unravel though. The twists were mind-blowing! I'm really enjoying it so far, it was so good for everyone to miss out!

why is the rating low TT i saw a lot of people praising it on facebook, so i wanna watch. is this worth it?

This drama is by far the fastest k-drama to go up on leaderboards, sitting beside iconic 2016 k-dramas! It was a really great achievement because it was made 4 years after those dramas, but still managed to catch up, which just shows how amazing of a show it is. I mean, who won't appreciate its refreshing concept with complex characters, superb acting skills and intricate story, right? Well-deserved, IOTNBO Team! <3

She's not pretending to be mute, but rather she has a "selective mutism." It was mentioned in the first episode. She can't speak/talk not just to Sa Eon, but even also to her peers and colleagues—but that's because her mom forced her not to speak since she's a child, thus getting used not to speak to anyone. She can only talk to her dad when it was just the two of them alone, and she's visiting him from time to time that's why she still has the ability to speak (or else, psychologically or sociologically speaking, she can still speak thanks to her interactions with her dad). She can only talk to her dad, to herself (when she's alone), or when the desperate moment calls for it (police car scene).

I think the problem here lies not with the writers, but with the editors. They made it look like a big fire when it wasn't supposed to be (since the script have no hints of making Sa Eon suffer a big loss). Personally, it was a minor flaw so I can let it pass ^^ but it's also okay if small details like that shouldn't be overlooked to some viewers like you.

I just hope that deep inside, Sa Eon doesn't think that it was an "affair" in any way, because she was obviously hurt during the kidnapping and car accident with bruises on her neck, so how come it will be an affair.
Anyways, I just finished watching episode 3 and AAAHHH !!! He finally revealed (even just to those two cops) his relationship with Hui Ju !!! I really, really want her to see him in a different light as soon as she can, although I know it would take time for her to fully understand him but hopefully there would be lesser grudges in her heart and she took her time to heal. I'm extremely rooting for them and their happiness, I can't wait to see their relationship develop! <3

I actually don't understand the 8.3 ratings of this drama in this site, it was a refreshing drama last 2021 that is well appreciated by the viewers [though, aside from the fact that our Esther Yu somehow faced criticisms because of her voice :<]. Anyways, people might really just have different opinions or perceptions about the plot and characters.

I'm currently re-watching it rn and I still had the same thoughts about it. I still love it the way I did before, and actually discovered things I don't remember seeing when I watched it before (while it was still airing)! It was a good decision to re-watch it, then. <3

This line is so heart-breaking + the tension is sooo tight that I feel suffocated with all that's happening, but I find everything so good for now !! I'm loving it !!

Finally done after 4 days of binge-watching, and this had officially became one of the top dramas I am loving. I am already missing MiaoSheng so much! <3
