I love how the ratings get higher and higher. 🤞🏻 It has been so long since I've seen a drama with complex moral conflicts, and I'm loving how the leads' bond was slowly building up! 🫶🏻

One of the things that I'm looking forward to see is a villain (whom she will punish) that is not static, black character. It would be interesting to see a dynamic, gray one! It would surely bring confusion to our Justitia or shake her to reflect. Nonetheless, it was so good so far.

wdym? he's a realistic character so far in my perspective, 'cuz he is a "human detective" after all. if we put ourselves in his shoes, even if he knew she is a demon, he doesn't understand what it means to be a demon. also, there should be no exception when it comes to punishing criminals (according to morality) - and it is true that bitna would be considered a "criminal" in a human's perspective somehow (if he would be able to provide a proof). understanding or supporting him doesn't make people incomprehensive about the plot. [no hard feelings, just a genuine thought about this ^^]

but romance is clearly one of the genres according to this page... 🥲

I remember she was the older version of the female lead in one of the most popular Taiwanese movie, Our Times! I was so glad to see her again for a long time. <3

1 year imprisonment and 3.54M won fine seemed to be quite too much for a man who was in his self-destruction phase, when there are people who did worse things to other people yet spent lesser time in prison... I am not siding with him in any way, rather, I have no prejudices against him. I just hope that he would get better and start anew in a different place, like what Ji Soo did.

The only thing I can complain about this drama is the total amount of episodes. Why is this so short? I love all the main leads, and I want to see more of them... 😭

So I ended up binge-watching this today, and won't be able to avoid the pain of waiting for another episode. 🤧

I can't believe how I got easily attached in the characters because they were way too real in their own flawed ways, and how they actually acknowledge their flaws and tries to bring out their best versions. I am currently on Episode 13 and I am loving it so far!

I really had fun reading! Never thought I had the same experience with three of the writers here, so I got more immersed in this article as I find it relatable. Thank you, writers! <3
Oh, my first drama is Jewel in the Palace (which I've watched on TV when I was a toddler). I consistently watched whatever Asian drama appears on TV since then, but the drama that made me dive deeper into the Asian drama world and search for more was Itazura na Kiss (2014 version), after rewatching it last 2018!

Wow, talented korean actors alongside with Fukushi Sota? I will definitely look forward to this!

I binge-watched this drama in almost 2 days, and I had to say this made me feel nostalgic even though in their setting, I was still a little kid. It made me reminisce the days when pure love and innocence is what lives beneath a young girl like me before, and the cinematography adds so much to how cool and comforting this drama was. I love it sm! 💗

Just went here to see the viewers' feedback before trying to watch this drama. I guess I have to wait for atleast a week in order to decide whether I should start watching it or not.

Story of Kunning Palace, where the ML also starred in, is a time-travel drama as well but the character who went back in time just went back to their own body, in their past self. That was the case in this drama too. I don't think reincarnation is banned too, since there are some xianxias which aired recently (2023-2024) that has a reincarnation plot but is not banned in China.

As far as I know, the only banned ones were time-travel or reincarnation dramas from past historical to present modern, or vice-versa.

For those who are interested in watching it, Tencent Youtube Channel had compiled Season 1-3 with 6 hours and 30 minutes duration long. You can watch it in 1.5x if you wanted to finish it earlier, just like what I did.

It is a light-hearted romcom, but recommendable only if you wanted to watch a fun and light drama.

Imperfections are inevitable in a drama, so this one is not an exemption. However, I can overlook the minor flaws because of how well this drama has been made. I just finished watching it, and thankfully, I am satisfied with the overall outcome! I need to recollect my thoughts and start writing my review.

I still haven't watched the last episodes yet, so I guess I have to wait a bit before writing a review. I had a lot of fun with you, The Double! 💕

I hate the Eldest Princess in the drama but daaamn, Li Meng is such a versatile actress! From her little sly smiles to her vicious face when she plans something, and to her breakdown moments which caused her severe pain, her microexpressions as a person with complex character is really on point! None of them felt forced, it's just surreal how she conveyed all those emotions. I also think that there are a few scenes when they had filmed on the same day (as her outfit seemed to be the same, and it would be less time consuming if they do) which requires different emotions, but she managed to convey them all so well. A round of applause for Li Meng!
