Am I the only one who thinks that Ji Shu Ran looks so pretty with the dolled-up head and feels relieved with how she acts like a kid now...? 😭

After watching Episode 35, I thought that I really might have underestimated Shen Yu Rong's cunningness. He was an a***ole, a pathetic evil who will drag others and look for a hole for him to escape in order to save himself and climb up to higher rankings. I misjudged him, it turns out that he actually have no plans of redeeming himself. I can't believe I actually pitied Princess Wan Ning this time (and ONLY this time). I thought that he might really be just in the extreme survival mode for now - but no one can ever call it SURVIVING if one literally did the worst things ever while other's lives had to be sacrificed. I can't predict this drama, it's so stressful yet so good at the same time.

I think it's more like a positive note, Xiao Heng will continue to serve him as long as he continue to love all living creatures just like how he is since they were kids, and let him remember his initial aspirations.

Even I felt robbed sadly, but don't worry because I saw a picture here in The Double page that there would be an actual kiss! Maybe they just lie low for now in order to make way for the main plot, the actual focus of the drama, I'm not sure. I think they would show us the real kiss near the ending. :))

I love how most of us (and even him himself) also doubts what Shen Yu Rong's real intentions. 😂

Will he remain in Wanning's side and continue to protect the wrong people, or turn the tables around and redeem himself? Can't wait for the next episodes!

First, Princess WN just barged in as if she was just against JL and Magistrate Xue, which unveils the purpose of her actions.

Second, they knew how JL was able to be rank first in the school evaluation but most of them don't know how she was doing in Zhennyu Hall. Since she is from a well-off family, it's not impossible for her to learn and practice despite being in that place for 10 years. Only those who are close to her family or her family members themselves would pretty notice, which is what happened in the drama.

Third, there is no officials who have ever seen XFF except SYR and Princess WN. Therefore, anyone won't believe that XFF is JL. SYR killed her himself, so he was sticking to what his eyes saw and is not assuming that XFF is JL. If even her husband doesn't think she is his wife, then who else will believe? It looked like Princess WN was just slandering her identity.

And lastly, her acquaintances in the court mostly have never thought of your idea. 😂

I found myself getting obsessed with this drama more day by day, it got me hooked right from the beginning and kept me on my seat until the last released episode. The plot is intriguing, and the pacing is well-balanced. Even the dialogues were engaging, and the fact that these talented actors created life to their characters so well made this even more entertaining to watch. I had to repeat a scene if I did not grasp a single dialogue just to fully understand every details.

I came for the plot and Wang Xing Yue, so I know he would undoubtedly excel this role. However, this is my first drama of Wu Jin Yan. I have known her years before but I have not watched any of her dramas. Her performance here is indeed remarkable, so I think I am going to look forward to her future works from now on!

wowww, i just started this drama last 2 days and now i can't get enough of it! jiang li (fang fei) and duke su surely were such a delight to watch, there's no profound romance yet but the chemistry is there, felt and seen. the plot just became more and more intriguing, and i am entertained in every second. love it!

hi! just planning on watching it after i saw this in MDL's most popular shows list... is this drama a mix of historical and modern? if so, how was it done - like are there 2 timelines occuring at a time or there is time travelling?

She have told her reason, that maybe it was her selfishness that it's more important for her that he will live than him saving her and die. Though she knew that living a life without purpose is worse than just being alive for Gwi Ju, Da Hee still chose the worse option - thinking that it would be better for him to be alive while she will disappear (if Gwi Ju won't be able to save her in the past) than her own disappearance. It was a selfless act *in their case*, in my opinion. It's so cruel for the three of them, though, so even I am somehow upset with what happened, but after all, who would just watch someone they love die early, despite knowing what the future holds and has the ability do something?

+ Yi Na has the right to know, though it may not be the best timing when she found out but even things like that happen in real life. The situation called for it, so Yi Na had to know at that moment.

I don't know how will I spend my Mondays and Tuesdays now that Lovely Runner have finished airing...🫠 This drama will forever hold a place in my heart. 💗

As much as I love Esther, I can't blame you if you dislike her voice. It's your preference after all, but as for me, I'm totally okay with it. Hye Yoon's voice never bothered me as well.

I don't know but Gwi Ju's time-travelling years ago (when the fire happened) felt weird, yet works for me. The "your past is my future" seemed to make sense even just with one timeline. I'm just a little bit confused now as to how that scene took place, even if Gwi Ju and Da Hee are not related in the past, and how will they make it make sense. The show's plot is well-written so far, and the built up of characters and their relationship dynamics are a chef's kiss as well. Looking forward to how things will unfold!

Yep, it focused more on depiction of the participants' struggles and mentality rather than their development and background. Maybe this is why this show lacks a little bit for me, because the character's background is important to see where their actions are coming from, which we only saw in 1st and 6th floor but not to the rest of the characters (especially 8th floor).
