I honestly didn't know that! I don't dabble on douyin or weibo at all. This is just my passing comment seeing that quite a lot of scenes in IS focusing on his hands (and they ARE beautiful, imo). I guess they did that because the crew is aware of the ruckus caused by those hands 0_0

Yamada's styling here reminded me of his 2014-2015's styling. I was suddenly hit by a wave of nostalgia.

I love this scene. FL with her hair down, embracing ML who is unconscious/injured, and both their clothing are disheveled. The unguarded emotion and protective feeling is remarkable.

This is superficial, but... I love looking at good looking people wearing winter clothing (turtlenecks, coats, winter jackets, etc.)

Gu Xixi and Mu Ruona doesn't interact that much. In fact, after their first meeting (forgot which ep. that was), I can't remember they meet again or doing something that would make them closer (like lunch or hangout together). Suddenly in ep. 19 they are best friends??? Scriptwriters, please... -_-

But I'll keep watching just because the leads are very cute together.

Hello!

I think you wrote a very interesting topic here. I haven't seen articles that talk about what a healthy relationship is, and how dramas often (or almost always) romanticizes unhealthy relationships. I think it's quite okay to watch romanticized unhealthy relationships in dramas as long as we understand that it is unhealthy, and that we watch them with a clear mind that it is not what relationships supposed to be. It is not a problem with mature viewers. However, the problem is, many dramas normalizing concepts such as lack of consent are watched by underaged teenagers. They may not know that consent is crucial in every relationship in life. There is a need to educate these young people that not all relationships in dramas the watch are normal. Your article here actually can be used to make young people aware about this. An informed viewers are better than those who are ignorant, and consequently negatively impact the society they live in.

Anyway, thank you for writing this!
