31 episodes in, and Shen Ting Bai is my favourite character. A successful businessman with a bit of ruthless streak in him whenever his closest people are in danger. But he is also a gentle and mature man, who is capable of love even if he has to let the girl he loves go chasing another man. He is clearly devoted to Qu Man Ting, but he is resigned to protect her from afar and make sure she is safe and happy. This kind of man will always melt my heart <3
I'm at ep 10 now and am gritting my teeth watching the male lead's acting. This might be unpopular opinion, but…
Thank you for answering! I'm in a dilemma here. I'm frustrated by male lead/AC's acting, but I also want to know how DW plays the main character in season 2. I read that DW plays a more 'mature' NQ (whatever that may mean). So I guess I'll put this on hold. When the mood strikes, I'll continue where I left. Hopefully it won't take too long.
This was the fastest I've "finished" a 60 episode drama (I did fast forward a lot of parts in the later half though).…
I'm at ep 10 now and am gritting my teeth watching the male lead's acting. This might be unpopular opinion, but 10 episodes in, I don't see him "owning" the character he plays. I won't ask for spoilers, but will it get better? If not, I might drop this series. I can't stand with a main lead's so-so acting.
The sublimity of acting of a man that is Ninomiya Kazunari. Not knowing what sarcastic and shrewd words that will come out of his mouth, I often found myself holding my breath every time he is on screen. It was very thrilling. Tokai is provocative, cunning, and admired by his peers. It's all qualities that can be found in the real Ninomiya, as well. For his work in Black Pean, I tip my hat to you, Nino... Bravo!
From these three, Platina Data is my favourite. The defining factor, for me, lies in music. Platina Data has the advantages of Sawano Hiroyuki, and he composed such music that made viewers on edge of their seat. Not to mention Arashi's Breathless. It was the icing on the cake. The music and lyric were made to fit the movie. The PV is also not a disappointment. It's that one package of storytelling, visual, and music that make Platina Data is one step ahead the other two. Brain Man is the second for me. If only it has music that better supports the movie, Brain Man and Platina Data could have a tie. In terms of actor, story, and directing, Brain Man is on a par with Platina Data. Unfortunately, they didn't have music that embodies every other factor in the movie. Library Wars is the third, simply not because it was a bad movie. It's just not psychological enough for me. I like dark and heavy plot. While Library Wars has good plot, story telling, and actors, it did not quench my appetite for darker plot.
Other title that could be in this list is Himitsu~The Top Secret. Have you watched it? It has the same director as Platina Data (Ootomo Keishi) and played by Ikuta Toma as the lead. The atmosphere is dark and very psychological. I love it.
Or at least, if anyone know the title, please let me know? I can try google it or something.

Can you tell me where I can find it?
