From the opening song and the first scenes with the heroine, we imagine a plot of relentless revenge and a cat-and-mouse war between the heroine, Mei Lin, and the dangerous anti-hero, Morung Jing He. The tragedy that Mei Lin faces brings her a deep hatred for the supposed killer of her family and the people of her hometown. But the first encounter with the anti-hero (and now I realize, it was funny, full of humor and childish jokes about two little animals he loves: a white puppy and a turtle (his true friend who passed away and he was holding a funeral for this friend). He was being carried in a sedan chair by his soldiers (apparently, not only because he was a prince, but because he was unable to walk). But even in this situation, he presents a lazy, arrogant and carefree aura. He says right at the first encounter with Mei Lin (among all the beauties, this one (Mei Lin) is the only one who interests me. From the first scenes, why didn't I realize it before? (he is a mask of what he is not). A boy hidden behind the mask of a butcher general and a merciless lover (but it is all a mask) and from the first seconds we were shown. Mei Lin is tricked by the master of shadows to kill Morung Jing He. And she tries at the first chance, but falls into his hands, when he, in a medicinal pool, was taking his bath. This was their second encounter in this episode. This encounter has an element of dangerous sensuality, like two angry, lethal chess players facing off, but it ends with him getting up from the bathtub and her realizing he can walk. She is very surprised by this.

I just realized it. It's already released on Viki, 21 episodes. I don't know how many I'll watch per day (the ones I managed to). I know you're not referring to his actual voice (which is great), but rather to the beginning of the drama, the voice of the evil Murong Jing. But then his voice for most of the drama is a normal voice, without the lazy and evil slowness of the first few episodes. PS: This voice is the actor's original voice that he changes the intonation according to the character, but it is his real voice.
