So looking forward to this one!
This is consistent with the red flag that so many talk about.
And the story in the book is very interesting, it is a duel of intelligence and charm between the two main protagonists.

Everyone carried the drama. And the male lead shone in his character.

It's a HE. The final scene is their rebirth and everyone who died appears alive in the scene. MJH and ML start…
The symbols of a story cannot be lost throughout the plot. It is in this drama that there is an inconsistency in this essential symbol of the plot (if they took it to the end, how beautiful it would be and also coherent with the end of the book. (But...still the drama is worth watching), because there are interesting things in this drama, like this analogy.

In drama it is not imaginary, and rebirth in the afterlife. That is what they mean.

In drama it is not imaginary, and rebirth in the afterlife. That is what they mean.
It is a repetition in the afterlife (where there was no fire).

It is a new beginning in the next life. Showing that everything would be different if the fire had not happened.

I keep reading spoilers that indicate just that. Some are my favourites.

I don't think it's a fantasy. He said that phrase. So the drama (kind of showed the future ahead) this happening in the other life. Then the plot goes back and tells what happened in this life. As if it were a consolation prize for the audience.🤔

The fact of rewatching it again or not (even for the scenes or episodes that we liked the most), it can be rewatchable. But... the idea changed from the first to the second episode (and the audience accepted the change), somewhat against their will (but the writers), were unable to maintain the rhythm of the plot that they created (it's as if they started a story) and didn't conclude it and started another story. But still, there are memorable scenes and episodes.

I hope that in December they will broadcast the xianxia "A moment but forever" with Liu Xue Yi and Tiffany Tang. Liu Xue Yi plays the role of a fox priest and Tiffany Tang is a craftswoman goddess. I have to finish watching the anime on IQIYI, there are only 2 episodes left until I finish it. I had paused it.

My brain hurts watching this why did Mei Lin suddenly lose her martial arts after she fake died what is this dumpster…
She throughout the book lacks her martial skills, which were also blocked, taken away, (and yet) has the strength to carry a man on her back for almost the entire book.

I understand. They didn't follow the line of thought they created in the first half of the plot. I feel like they fired the writers of the first few episodes. The immortal flower analogy: I'll never forget this analogy (and Jing He explaining it to Luo Mei). There should have been a moment where he told Mei Lin this immortal flower analogy too.

I say this: because kill me love me (it doesn't come to fruition in the drama). The story was definitely not about that. So, the Chinese title talks about the flame of the spring flower. Rebirth in the flame and spring that is always blooming fit the drama better. But the English title attracted a lot of audience (because of what it seemed to promise).
