I've watched bits and pieces of her in The Sleepless Princess and found her so familiar but couldn't pin point where. Should've known she's the main lead in The Mysterious World lol.

He needs to work on some high budget dramas a lot more. This man is way too handsome and has the right acting skills.

I actually quite like it. Of course the plot could've been better, but it's generally more oustanding than season 1. I know some people didn't like the fact that the male lead did technically cheat on his 'wife' but honestly, I really didn't think all too much about it as she IS she and it was meant to play out like that. The acting seems to have stayed the same as to season 1, there were some scenes that didn't make sense, at least to me anyway, I think it was probably due to some editing error they did and it made the final cut. Filming, costumes were nice and the osts stayed the same as season 1 which I like as it created that same vibe and nice flow to the drama. Overall, I'm generally looking forward to watch season 3.

I think the plot was nice. Honestly everything was great. The music, scenes, the characters themselves. I've seen where people were coming from with the last 4 episodes but honestly I understood it and why it was obviously needed. The acting especially for the male lead was also surprising, (& done well) after seeing him in Princess Agent (which he did nail down as a bodyguard). Overall, I wouldn't classify this as your everyday time traveling drama nor was it lighthearted or heavy in its plot. Just get ready to be overwhelmed with a bunch of kissing scenes (which was enjoyable don't get me wrong) more than usual in these sort of dramas.

There's a rumor that Bai Lu might be in it.
:0 I don't know how to react with this. Usually she's a female lead actor type. I hope she didn't get the lead role. (Not a personally attack lol, we all know we want Zhao Lusi to reprise her role).

I think that the original cast will be used, after scrolling through weibo I have seen all people say that they…
To me, I like to think it's also to do with the cast's schedule. If Tencent was really paying attention, the success turnout of The Eternal Love was also halfly due to the fact that the main leads especially came back to reprise their roles and I think back then season 2 became so popular mainly because of it too so I'm expecting Tencent to at least be more demanding in the OG casts returning if they want to be more profitable and gain viewers and whatnot. Ding Yuxi doesn't look like to have many things going on so I'm completely not worried cause I think he WILL come back but Zhao Lusi does. She's apparently filming a drama right now and scheduled in for another in September so depending on how things go, she might have to jump between filming (which she has done before so I'm not that worried) if she does reprise her role and if filming starts around the same time, worse case scenario she probably won't come back if things conflict obviously. What I'm hoping is that with the timing this announcement was released, and to finalizing the casts would be long enough for these two to clear out their schedule to film this which we can sort of assume to be sometime late this year and by then Zhao Lusi's schedule shouldn't be too hectic. Only time can tell from now on out at this point.

I admit, when this first aired, I was hesitant to jump on it because of the synopsis. Thus, I only watched this now as I didn't have any dramas lining up this period and decided I was just going to go in for it without much thought. By the first few episodes I was still meh but as it got into the 10s and 15s episodes I found myself so captivated by the plot. The characters was the usual set up but they were neithertheless entertaining to watch as they were unique unlike most characters. I can't comment on any CGI/affects they did cause I wasn't focus on that nor actually seeing anything so. But the film tech was quite great though some scenes had awkward cuts which was a pain to see as it obviously doesn't go well with the transition but honestly overall a nice, I wouldn't say 'light hearted' nor 'heavy' drama, with some great OSTs. I think the actors did amazingly, to the best of their abilities during filming, and on screen too was perfect. The ending for me at least wasn't too satisfying. It was 'enough' to get by and trust me it made me super happy (I cried too lol), but it was also lacking. Perhaps if they had a more extended ending I would've enjoyed the conclusion a bit more. Edit: Tencent had also announced that there will a season 2 so that would've explain the ending.

Yuan Hao was also casted in Tientsin Mystic 2. His role was quite minor but I think it showed a short side to his versatility as a 'villian'. He's Liu Chengmao in the drama.

Did anyone notice, Yuan Hao actually played a role here too? He's in the couple last episodes very minor though, 20 and 21 I think, the guy who was found dead in the bucket, Liu Chengmao. I was surprised to find him listed on google today and was so confused because I couldn't find him until episode 21 came out where they had this 'meeting' and you can clearly recognise his appearance. Pretty different to what you see him casted in these days. I like it.

... Wow! This was very light. The plot kept me excited for each episode. I think the acting were amazing for each and everyone of the casts. The characters themselves had depth in them, you can see the character development throughout the drama. Though yes, it seems 'low' budget which to me was fine, there was nothing wrong with any scenes, film techniques was fine, music gave me a sweet and loving vibe. People mentioned that they saw different hands during the cooking scenes, and I honestly didn't even notice it until half way through the drama, so it doesn't even bother me. Yes, I think the ending could've had an extra scene where we saw the actual baby but honestly that much was so sweet and full of happiness even without it. To see a drama like this, one that didn't have a couple's relationship being toxic, or isn't stable, eSpEcIaLlY where the mother in law is shit, or big shocking things happening, and looking into legends, powers, palaces, emperor and princesses were definitely so refreshing. I've always wondered if someone was ever going to produce a drama that look into the common life because I was over the numerous heartbreaks and people being king and queen. BTW, the director is also the same one who did Chef Fang and is currently doing Maiden Holmes and Legend of Exorcist Zhong Kui.

So far so good. I really liked it. The plot is just as exciting as season 1. Though I do understand where everyone was coming from. Because I just went from watching season 1 to immediately watching this, it sorta feels a bit awkward with the actor replacement. Like it doesn't vibe right with Cici Wang and the chemistry isn't really there per say. Though Kingscar Jin did act his part quite nicely. I think he didn't lack any that Li Xian has shown, Gou De You and Gu Ying still has that spark obviously, especially towards the middle episodes, the 'passion' they had for each other. Lol. By then I got used to seeing KJ face, it's not all that awkward really. I really loved that GDY straightout didn't even lie bout his 'love' for GY. I sworned over how he said he knew he was going to marry her sooner or later anyway and that they knew they were just meant for each other and how everyone agreed to that. Looking forward to move towards the ending. Edit: I'm not sure if the ending is an invitation for a season 3. Lol, I understand it but it leaves this mysterious weird trail that I can't help but feel. Anyway, reviewing the rest of the episodes, I'm genuinely shocked about who it really was. The ending seemed a bit rushed but honestly most Dramas do that anyway. The scenes were shot perfectly, music was nice, acting was how it should be. I genuinely love it.

I'm so excited! The casting especially because oh my god, you can SEE the chemistry they had in Lom Som Rok. The plot seems a bit bland though but we'll give it a try.

Wow, she was amazing in Chef Hua. Lol her appearance sort of looks like a mix between Zhao Zhao Yi and Dilraba. I'm excited to see her again in General's Lady.
