I haven’t watched a romcom kdrama in so long that I actually forgot I’ve seen the fl in Kill It but knew the actor playing the in law from Missing: the other side lol. 😂
I miss this genre.
Let’s all not forget that time is a luxury. Who you spend it with, what you say and what you do can all change in a matter of minutes. The ml grew to hate his own bro not knowing he had secrets he couldn’t tell and not even his own wife knew about, the fl regretted saying all those harsh words to her sister and now they’re coparenting their own nephew.
Tbe last 6 eps had a bunch of things happening. Most guessed right from the beginning about WNY parents. The plot twist for this arc was a little weird and honestly I couldn’t get into it. It felt a little lacklustre for me unfortunately.
The finale was ok, the development of the cure was long in the making but they made it at the end and at the cost of someone being in a coma for a while to save everyone else.
Correction to my previous comment, they split for 2 years. The way this arc was edited made it seem they only split for 6 months bc she only joined as a student 6 months ago but it was 2 years. It was bad editing.
Overall, the OSTs were nice, and some extra BTS/ epilogue released out that you have to pay extra for yet again but trust me, it makes up for all that ep 40 ending and will cure you with extra extra comfort. 😍
Some little details I liked were the rings hanging on their necklaces after this break up period and them sleeping together on the bed and she found out he was taking anxiety meds and confronted him about it.
The book wasn’t available on my end and I couldn’t read the last chapter but I figured the fl would be paired…
Oh sorry, I meant the episode previews bc I dropped it after a couple of eps but I was on the edge of picking it back up so I was looking at some of the previews where they seem to be working together.
It seems in the novel, Qiao Hai Lun has a very tragic end. Apparently she passes away due to being overworked.…
The book wasn’t available on my end and I couldn’t read the last chapter but I figured the fl would be paired up with Dong Yue based on the trailers just like how I hoped it would be.And you confirmed it. What’s stopping me from continuing is how slow the plot was on the fl catching onto her husband cheating and divorcing him. It’s focused a lot on the business, company and socialisation but not much given to anything else. The cheating is very normalised too. I haven’t seen the actor playing Dong Yue in a long time so it would’ve been a little nicer to see more of his screen time.
I don't think it is implied she has a daughter. In the very first episode, while reading her school essay in class,…
I probs misread the subs. I put a question mark there to indicate I wasn’t actually sure. I couldn’t be bothered to correct this comment bc I did realise she was adopted and commented above this original one. thanks for making me aware. 👍🏼
It’s a HE. I actually like the little plot twist in the last episode. The loose ends and fast pace of capturing the ‘villain’ was left deliberate for the cliffhanger ending. Apart from the obvious nonsense of the title, they don’t really train the killer other than like a couple of minutes, the OST was nice however.
This CGI bear is so humane, it knows how to open doors and ramage through the fridge. 😂
Meanwhile, the cp in matching clothing is huddled up afraid together behind a counter.
idk how to feel about WNY being aware of herself dreaming & choosing to jump. I really like the BGM though for this scene but is the fault entirely lying on him alone? Nope, it’s the director.
One thing I have noticed and come to hate with Taiwanese/Chinese thrillers/detective dramas is this eager/dogged/unwavering…
I thought the same. XX and LH was sentenced to 2 years for ‘excessive self defence’. What is excessive? MK was going to kill them had she not killed him instead. They just buried the body afterwards. I guess the excessive was the DV tape that LM specifically earned money for, paid and burned without turning themselves in 10 years earlier?
I miss this genre.

The plot so far looks pretty good.

Poor LJ will forever be third wheeling. 😂
I’m focused on how many times people are saying the grains won’t grow legs and run by itself.
They end up finding the grains missing or having a shortage all the time anyway. 😂
Despite the lack of chemistry between BY and ZYT, the wedding was pretty nice. Is gifting warships considered a luxurious dowry for the rich?
Actually, this angst was ok after that long time skip lol. It wasn’t that bad, they fast pace it back to finding the last fragment.
That reunion though. It was so sweet. 😍 This time, she’s the one reaching out to him.

How does one form a pact without using the normal methods? Definitely not by having a blood transfusion. 😂
