I wasn't feeling all too much with this one as I only started the drama for the sake of watching but damn did ep 3 did it for me. The ML listening to the FL and took her advice with no hesitation and immediately extended his hand because he wouldn't allow her to chase alongside him on foot to catch the criminal was the freshest scene I've ever seen thus far. Gosh, the part where he didn't take any credit to saving her and said she saved herself by being courageous was so fabulous. Stop, that was so sweet. And like, he's also a chef. His hands is graced!
i watched it on youku youtube channel, i am member vip gold 😂😂😎, i don't know about the others
How far ahead are the Youku subscription at? Viki is at ep 10 currently with ep 11 set to release around tomorrow or another day. I would risk paying VIP on Viki for better subs than Youku if they're not ahead at all.
A reminder that Dimsum E. Had shut their site and Netflix doesn't licence KC anymore. AlwaysGrumpyCat had it ripped on their site. (https://alwaysgrumpycat.com/kluen-cheewit-2017/). THE SUBBING PROVIDES BETTER CONTEXT THUS PLEASE WATCH FROM THIS RATHER THAN THE ONES EXISTING ON YOUTUBE.
My biggest complaint would be the fight scenes. It's in all Thai dramas in general and not just this one. I'm so used to seeing Chinese or Korean dramas with their fight scenes that I tend to compare them together. The scenes look so fake, it's laughable. You can tell there wasn't any real power/strength with the punches and all.
I seriously wonder why yaya and mark never act together again 😠is it because kim jealous? their chemistry…
In all honesty, I think it's more about the agency. From the little Google search I've done (correct me if I'm wrong), these actors and actresses don't 'audition'. In Thailand, you get sent as one of the castings by the agency then you get picked. A-listers just happen to be easier. Channel 3 just probs didn't find worth for them to work together again until recently with the news or perhaps haven't found a drama for them to milk from the CP yet.
First and foremost, I didn't know there was actually a 1982 original novel written. Hell, I don't think a lot…
(Dimsum Entertainment has the next best subs. It's even better than the original fansubs released out earlier back in the days of 2017. The site will shut down by the end of September. I advise people go see it for better context if you're wanting to watch KC. You'll have to have a VPN, because it's only available to some countries like its main base in Malaysia).
Seriously, rewacthing this drama in 4k at Netflix is just like heaven. Everything is more colourful and vibrant…
Where do you live because I don't know bout you but like half of the world can't access it. Lol. (I reckon Netflix ran out on licensing because if someone were to watch this now, late 2021, you couldn't find it, no matter the VPN. I instead had to option through Dimsum Entertainment with the VPN set in Malaysia. However they're shutting down the website in 9 days. There is no indication if they're leaving the site as is with the shows there or if the site will be gone all together. It looks like if someone wanted to re-watch or begin to watch KC 2017 in October into the future, the only access they have is the original subs. Which is a shame because from the ones found in DE, the subs are better).
God i can feel chaiyan and jeerawat.I had a best friend like that. He's male. And the whole world thought we were…
Honestly it's ridiculous how much people (even though understandable), have these insecurities. Everyone thinks you can't just be best friend when one's female and the other male. I'm lucky enough none of mine ever had girlfriends, or if they did, our friendship had become distant enough that there wouldn't be a problem but the amount of rumours and speculations that somehow we were dating would make me what to vomit some bitchy comments.
Jate? A nice guy however he still came across as someone who chose Dao like she's his second choice for a bit.…
Yeah, there isn't any to my knowledge. Some have fan subbed a few chapters however it's in another language. I couldn't find it online so whoever read it, most likely got a physical copy in Thai.
Jate? A nice guy however he still came across as someone who chose Dao like she's his second choice for a bit.…
I wanna also mention some things I've researched thus far if anyone is interested. It turns out the novel was a lot mOrE iNtEnSe. Don't take that lightly. Thit was more villainous and Jee was an alcoholic with issues. Readers have mentioned the scenes written were brutal. The first adaptation followed closely to the novel. The second was the same but different. This one was made with the same intent and followed the jiff of the plotline but it's toned down. Enough that we all still love it in today's day and age without moral conflicts involved too much.
First and foremost, I didn't know there was actually a 1982 original novel written. Hell, I don't think a lot…
Jate? A nice guy however he still came across as someone who chose Dao like she's his second choice for a bit. Dao was soft but willing to sacrifice herself. The others? Jee's mother was strong, brave. But she let her trauma overshadow her love for her daughter that it became abuse. Sitta was smart given the business he ran for years in corruption and power but women were his pleasure. And he underestimated them. Pim? Her determination but she became sour the minute she devalued herself into the position she had and bullied others for it doing the same thing. The events that happened? Were merely results from miscommunication that should have taken minutes to resolve. Further proving in healthy communication. There were scenes that became too far for Jee which isn't ok at all. But I guess that's the 'waves of life' coming into play. Regardless, I still enjoyed this beautiful remake. Yaya and Mark pulled themselves out for this one. There was news circulating that they are reuniting again however not sure how credible that is. (Edit: It is confirmed just recently). I look forward to rerun this show again 5 years from now. (Edit: Nevermind that, I'm trying to source out the novel and the first adaptation. I'm rerunning this version again in the meantime. There's so many details a lot of us overlooked because it's clear from the beginning why and how they chose to script this version the way they did and how closely they tried to match things even from the insignificant details).
First and foremost, I didn't know there was actually a 1982 original novel written. Hell, I don't think a lot of us realise this is the third adaption they've done after the first one in 1983, and the second in 1994. I took a peak at some clips which was expectedly old quality and unfortunately not English subbed however I've come to the conclusion this version followed pretty similarly to the old stuff which should be according to the novel anyway. My surprise came about with the few actors and actresses here and there. I'll let you figure that out on your own though. That said, I don't have the means to compare and critique so I won't do that. I remember when this came out years ago, I was still a Lakorn junky and decided why not watch Yaya and Mark battle it out. Luckily, dubbing in Khmer (still is but due to copyright being more restrictive it's not common anymore) was a thing and so I didn't need English subs. The schedule was awesome. I watched through the entire thing each week they released for the first time, and loved it. Went through some of the available BTS and sworned over the CP even though I knew Mark was for Kim and Yaya was to Nadech for weeks. I eventually got over it however that didn't mean I forgot or loved it any less. It wasn't until now that I took the decision to re-watch the Lakorn as it's going through its rerun. Four years later, mature and self aware, I rewatched through each episode and found the many flaws existing throughout the entire drama. The characters were so flawed it made me want to pull my hair out but they had their own redeeming qualities. Jee was sweet, her love for everyone was so kind but her flaw was her insecurities that everyone around her hadn't given her much off. Thit? I've loved his sense of rightness but it became obsessive to the point it made him become this morally grey person we didn't like for a while. Chaiyan? His love for Piak is immense but because of this, he let slide things he also wanted from her but couldn't get. Piak was a lady who was also sweet in the beginning but she let her insecurities do damage to those around her.
Hmmm the comments don't really match this 8.0 rating. Is this a yay or nay? Start or don't bother?
Not everyone that watches comment. It's best not to let others bias impact yours. I say try to blank slate it and watch a couple of episodes to see if you like it.
Anyone knows where to watch ep 9 subbed? It seems ep 9+ yoyo channel on youtube isnt properly subbed
I don't know actually? 😅 The official channel is probably autosubbed. The main ENG official channel is the one marked YoYo English. Episode 9 isn't scheduled for release until tomorrow.
Honestly, there's like this leap of faith that they take when it comes to deductions that's hilarious because…
I had to agree with you on that, and it's saying something because 😂 there's a level of difference as a seasoned watcher of C and K dramas in this particular crime genre even I can notice. At the end of the day, it's all a Lakorn.
I just realised the screenwriter crisscrossed the actor Ni Han Jin. They had him as Pugu Yun Si (The Love By Hypnotic) and they still casted him here as Pugu Yun Xiu. 😂 Lost brother from somewhere? Merely implying the same tragedy he had gone through or an alternate reality where he doesn't die? They even paired up Alen and Zhou Zi Xin.
