Wow, thanks for this.
It clears up a mess of questions I had and will help me better understand what's going on when I inevitably rewatch someday.

It strikes me how poorly most of this was portrayed in the series.
For instance, I saw nothing to indicate the money-throwing was anything other than a "whore" diss.
I'm not a fan of the idea that one should have to have read the source material to understand what's happening in the adaptation, particularly as, on average, over 90% of first-time adaptation watchers have NOT read the book/Manhwa/Manga.
The info we need to understand an adaptation should be IN the adaptation.
Isn't all the info we need to understand a Manhwa IN the Manhwa?

I thought of that, too, but they showed Jay as seen by Sun through that bunny head screen, and you could definitely tell who it was.
Either way, I enjoyed the cute/kinky aspect of the bunny head being there during the fairly hot sex scene.
I also enjoyed the glimpses of Sun's butt.

Lately, I've been seeing some pleasantly hot sex scenes in new BLs from KR to JP to TW.
It seems we may have broken through the Dead Fish Barrier.

I didn't use to be an action/crime fan, but Korea turned me into one.
I highly recommend AKR.
When you start watching, let me know if you see a resemblance between KDY and a certain actor. :)

I don't see any problem with actors five years apart kissing.
It's called ACTING, they're playing characters, not themselves, and in the show they're the same age.

That said, if a show calls for kissing and romance, why do directors cast actors they're unwilling to direct to kiss?
It leads to ridiculous things like the two of them holding their lips millimeters apart forever, in a way that no one IRL does.

This comes up again and again, and it's profoundly stupid.

Sun was doing his job handing out flyers in a pink bunny suit.
Jay, who he did not know yet, was being accosted by hoodlums.
Sun saw this and went to the rescue, pulling karate moves while wearing the suit.
Jay and Sun then had sex.

Why did they have sex?
Any reason, other than that Sun asked if Jay had ever done it with a guy?
Why did Sun leave the bunny head on while they had sex?
Was there some reason he wanted to remain hidden?
Why did Sun cry while they had sex?

Even though he could see Jay through the screened mouth of the bunny head while they had sex, Sun did not recognize him when they met later?

Well, it is only one episode we've seen so far.

In the original, Fuse gets shitfaced, and Tee takes him home with him from the bar.
Fuse, upset about his girlfriend being with another guy, and feeling curious, comes on to Tee and Tee bangs him bareback.
The next morning we see Tee sweetly apologize.
Fuse goes to school, where his buddies make gay sex jokes, not knowing he just got fucked by a guy the night before.
Fuse's stomach/intestines are making lots of noise.
He has to go to the bathroom because he's got cum running out of his ass.
He sits on the toilet and we hear hilarious/gross poop/gas sounds as he takes a dump. The faces he makes are hysterically funny.

So, given that NONE of that is in this version's first episode, and given the tone that's been established, how can you say it hasn't been sanitized from the original?

The pearl-clutching over the 21-16 casting is as amusing as it is sad.
These people have never heard of acting.

I just finished the first episode, and found it terrible.
Just as expected, they're cleaning up all the edgy stuff that made the original so enjoyable.
The casting of Tee is a disaster.
That kid has zero charisma, personality, or cuteness.

Secondly, it's poorly directed and written.
Stiff acting, stiff line-readings...ugh.
