My face is sore from smiling at my screen like an idiot for 12 minutes. At the same time, they are sexy/hot together, too. The way Ainosuke purses his lips and twists them to one side as he coyly averts his eyes, has me squealing like a 13-year-old Kpop fan at a BTS concert.
I love that the show is presenting a significant age-gap romance without judgment, allowing us to see how sweet their interaction is without unpleasant drama. Hopefully, that will come later, of course, but for now the vibes are sweet. :D

I get that you're fangirling over the actor, but please try to control yourself. After all, you're an experienced psychologist. Shouldn't you be past the fangirling stage?

Damn, you are correct. Mystery solved: I am watching Agent Kim as it is released, at the same time I am watching Vincenzo. With all the shooting and violence, death and what-not in both, I got them tangled up together. Kwak Dong Yeon is in Vincenzo. :D
I was reminded during this scene of a quirk of BL storytelling: I can't think of a single BL that includes a blow job. They go from heavy making out to butt-banging, as though those are the two options. :)

There's a commenter here who seems to believe that the actor/Sun did a magnificent job of portraying a person who was so deeply traumatized and shut down that he was dead inside, and his dead eyes showed it.
No..I didn't see that at all. I saw a lot of pouting and densitude.
I don't know...they looked pretty damn completely naked to me. :P What I liked most was the joy that was conveyed along with the sex. And their tan bodies with tan lines!!!! Sexy af. All of the characters in that show had deep tans, just as anyone who lived by the sea year-round would.
There was a moment in this show's nc scene where Jay was licking down Sun's torso, but the camera angle was such that we saw only the top of his face/head, and his eye was visible looking back up at Sun. So lovely.

I'd swear that in a scene in which Sun went to that nightclub to meet Director what's-his-name, Jay came out of the room Sun had knocked on and said something like "What if I were Director so-and-so?" Which, I guess, doesn't qualify as "telling" him, but it came close. As you said, it seems to have gone right over our simple but adorable Sun's cute head. :D
I died, was resurrected, and died again five times during that glorious scene. I came three times, too. :O I would say it fulfilled my expectations, which were high, but did not surpass them. I do think it's one of the best, if not the best, sex scenes in BL history.
Have you seen the Taiwanese BL, Wishing Upon the Shooting Stars? It contains a breathtaking love scene, too.

This actor most certainly did not achieve the dead, lightless eyes you describe. He was pouting, and he seemed to be pouting because that's as far as his acting skills take him. You saw "utter desolation" in his eyes and on his face? lol You saw "emotional paralysis?" What, are you his mom? His agent?
Episode 8: OK, after the pandemonium in comments below, I hope this doesn't disappoint. Going in...fingers crossed.
Oh my goodness, that is indeed a scene for the ages. So nice to see two people becoming intimate, and the scene given the time it richly deserves, rather than a little making out and then fading to black. They are stunning together. That scene was beautifully choreographed, directed, and acted. I'd love to know how many days they spent filming it The music was nice, too.
I felt I was witnessing something that maybe should have been left to these two characters alone, as if I were an intruder and shouldn't have been there. But I WAS there, and I'm glad of it. :D
Wait..what? Did some other stuff happen in this episode?
Episode 7: The revolting geezer who's always demanding BJs; you gotta love that hairpiece. lol What am I missing? As a manager, how and why do you allow your camera-phobic actor to be cast as the lead in a movie which will be shot with, you know...CAMERAS? Actor playing Sky is impressive. The scene in which he spilled his guts is deeply moving. Beautiful smile, too. Also, his panic attacks are well-done. Anyone else shipping Sun and Sky? I mean, the sun is in the sky, right? :P Manager might be my favorite character.

Yeah, I figured that was what he and the director were aiming for, but it's just not working for me. I wish there were more going on in his eyes, even if he were to keep the rest of his face frozen. I'm guessing this actor, as cute as he is, doesn't have the skills to pull this off. The character is numb, not mad at his parents for grounding him.
I acknowledge that's my opinion, and no one else has to agree. Obviously, you don't. :)
I know it's silly to announce that my comment is MY opinion. Clearly, it's my opinion...I wrote it. But lots of MDLers seem unable to grasp that concept, thus the never-ending replies shrieking, "Well, that's just YOUR opinion, and no one else has to think what you do, you meanie-mean man you!!!" To which I reply, "OK." :D
