We get articles about Korean stars deaths, but none for him. This surprised me.
Because Chinese media corporations, which are subservient to and operate in fear of, the authoritarian Chinese government, which does not like ANY publicity about anything that doesn't reflect beautifully upon the People's Chinese Republic, want only rainbows, unicorns, and cotton candy articles disseminated about their industry and performers. In response, MDL chooses to ignore inconvenient stories that might arouse suspicions, such as allegedly drunk actors "falling" out of windows. Best option: Don't cover the story at all.
If that doesn't answer your question, I can't help you. Don't be naive and don't be so quick to dismiss uncomfortable questions as "conspiracy theories." Every day, all over the world, lots of conspiracies of all kinds play out. Calling inconvenient questions "conspiracy theories" has become another form of shorthand for STFU.
The most hilarious and creepy af aspect of this regarding MDL is that this actor's bio page remains up, but makes NO mention of his death. The only indication you will find that he no longer exists on this plane is the use of the word "was" in place of "is" in the first sentence of his bio. lol I guess MDLers are too scared to edit the bio to include his "fall" and subsequent departure to become a "star in the sky" as Korean entertainment companies like to say of their entertainers who have killed themselves. :D
What's this bit about him allegedly being "cut open" to retrieve a usb drive? Not sure whether to recoil in horror or laugh out loud at that rumor. I've poked around on the Internet for verification but, of course, all is speculation and obfuscation. Anyone have the real dirt on this? Why would a usb drive be in the guy's abdomen?
Gotta love Asian celeb/entertainer rumors/controversies. Our celeb scandals here in the US are downright boring by comparison. :)

I'll repeat what I wrote to another commenter below:
"MDL is leery of endangering whatever Chinese $$$ flow into its coffers in return for promoting Chinese films and series. This place doesn't operate for free, yet we, the members, aren't paying anything. What we DO pay with, instead of $$$, is the lack of trustworthy information in general, and coverage of films/series out of places like Vietnam, Cambodia, Laos, India, and Indonesia, in particular.
Those listed countries have produced loads of worthy content, but you won't hear a peep about it on MDL because those countries don't fork over the $$$."
Almost 20 days later... is MDL expressing its deepest condolences ?!?!? MDL never even announced his death on…

This lovely little film moved me a long way along the road to a better understanding of and a lot more empathy toward trans people. I have seen it twice now. It will take a third and fourth watch to put all the pieces together, I think.
Especially in light of its limited budget, its accomplishments are remarkable. I'd love to see this remade with a big-ass budget to do the story justice. The dancers at the club were fantastic. My big budget fantasy production of this flick would expand their production numbers into the real kick-ass thing.
i agree with your opinion about the movie, but as a person who isnt even a fan of holland i feel that its weird…
How any performer looks is one hundred percent the business of the audience. What do you surmise is the purpose of makeup, hairstyles, wardrobe, and fifty other things whose sole purpose is to influence our visual perception of a character's appearance and thus, the impression they make on us.
That you don't want to acknowledge that Holland is painfully thin, pale, with large lips, etc. is fine. Do that. Meanwhile, keep your nose out of other audience members' business and how they perceive a character based on appearance.
"dragging it" lol The OP made one, brief comment. Hardly "dragging."
Boy Pakorn is one of the best actors I've seen in anything out of Thailand.
He seems incredibly familiar to me, but I don't watch Thai dramas other than pre-2020 BL, and I haven't seen any of his movies. Thus, I spend half the time he's on screen in a frustrated state. lol Wish I could place where I've seen him before. He has great charisma and screen presence, and I don't see him "acting," but "being," as so few actors are able to successfully do.
He's the reason I'll keep watching this. That Thai speech thing where they go "hoo!" to express mockery or feigned surprise always cracks me up.
This is hilarious, or at least as much of it as I found was hilarious.
I was able to find only parts 1, 2, 3, 4, 8, 9, 10 on dailymotion. If anyone else knows where the entire flick or the parts I couldn't find are, please let me know.
I guess you missed this part: "Professional soldiers, NOT COUNTING THE PSYCHOS, of which there are plenty, understand that they are fighting other humans..."
There have always been psychos among professional soldiers. Far too many of them, unfortunately. Unsurprising that you identify with them.
"I mean, fuck, Trump is a billionaire so I dunno, comparing people to him isn't such an insult as you may think it is; as off mark as you are here." Yeah, cause personal wealth is definitely the ultimate measure of a human being, right? Also unsurprising.
"I actually worked on a frontline..." lol And I worked as an interplanetary bio-physicist specializing in xenomorphs for Weyland Yutani in the Alpha Centauri System. Prove me wrong.
Oh look! There's the usual "you're too emotional" deflection. lol So original. Yeah, I'm sobbing here, totally out of control. Your implication that most Americans are of the "too emotional" persuasion is laughable. We have more than our share of sadists and psychopaths here. Like you, they don't care about anything bad happening to others until it happens to THEM.
Then, we have the old "empathy is weakness" assertion. So original too. Charlie Kirk agreed, which is why I don't feel sorry for him or his wife. Wouldn't want to be weak, ya know. Newsflash: Empathy is what separates humans from animals. Soldiers aren't trained to "forget that they are fighting humans." They don't have to "imagine they are fighting monsters" to do their jobs. lol You watch too many action flicks. Seeing one's adversaries as mindless monsters, unable to rationally think, plan, and execute tactics is a great way to lose a battle/war.
Professional soldiers, not counting the psychos of which there are plenty, understand that they are fighting other humans, who for whatever reasons, are trying to kill them or do something else detrimental to the country which they defend. This may also come as a newsflash to you: Empathy does not require one to turn off one's brain, nor does it prevent one from doing what must be done, no matter how repugnant, to achieve a worthy objective. The universe isn't black/white, monsters/bleeding hearts, Trumper.
"Of course, I assure you that I am far more knowledgeable about politics and geopolitics then you are." hahaha No, no supercilious, solipsistic BS being spewed here, none at all! I assure you that you are not so, oh arrogant one.
The rest of your psychopathic/sociopathic blatherings are additional evidence of your similarities to Donald Trump, and unworthy of response.

Here in the US, the Chinese Public Security Authorities are Trump's role model for the new American Public STFU Authorities. Free speech is no more.
I'm perfectly "chill" though. Thanks.
