After that, in my dream show, the couple would settle into a fairly versatile sex life, though it doesn't have to be 50/50.
That too would be boring.

As a versatile gay man who leans bottom (and I never thought in these amusingly label-obsessed ways before entering BL World), the plot I describe would be thrilling to see.
The top/bottom trope is mind-numbing in its rigidness and predictability.

Clearly, you have a much better grasp of the world of Thai BL production studios than do I.

I discovered and became enthralled with BLs through early Thai shows, almost exclusively.
But of what's been produced since 2020, there are very few I've finished.
Moonlight Chicken and the recent Ticket To Heaven come to mind, though the latter was great through three eps, then crashed and burned for me.
And currently I'm watching the delightfully trashy Only Friends, even though it's stuffed full of all the problems, big and small, that are standard in Thai productions.

YOU are responsible for your reaction to what other people say and write. No one MAKES you feel one way or another. If you are upset to read opinions you don't like, it may be because those opinions are touching a place of insecurity in your opposing opinion. Maybe you should consider taking a look at the insecurity instead of announcing that no one should ever dismiss a show as terrible because you don't like to hear it, which is a juvenile, defensive position.

Works of art are created to be evaluated by the standards of all who encounter them, not only those who like everything about them.
These are professional, paid actors, crew, etc., whose completed work it is absolutely valid to criticize as a failure.

I don't think anyone's saying that some really delicious sandwiches weren't made by the food cart on set, or that there aren't a few cute/acceptable/not horrible moments sprinkled here and there throughout any individual show.
But to conclude that therefore no show/flick should ever be denounced as a failure is silly.

No one is owed the experience of reading through a comment section entirely free of posts that annoy them.
We learn and grow from things that annoy us; they prompt us to take a look, however briefly, at our assumptions/positions/perspectives and adjust (or not) accordingly.

Are you familiar with Kim Jonghyun, the lead singer of Kpop band SHINee who died by suicide in 2017?
I was/am a huge fan of his.
His death is an incalculable tragedy.
After his passing, his mother established a foundation in his honor that supposedly funds mental health services for idols/entertainers who need it.
Thing is, I can never find any info online to substantiate that such services are actually available and being used.
It's like that elsewhere; I occasionally read bits about agencies offering mental health services to their idols but I suspect not much is coming of it.
The annoying stigma surrounding mental health remains strong in Korea, and I'm guessing most actors/idols are afraid if they make use of the services, word will get around, and it will hurt their career.
Frustrating as hell.

The character of Ray is someone so naturally charming and good-looking that people are drawn to him despite the addictions and cheating he constantly does.
Khaotung is not qualified to be that person, and the miscasting is a huge problem for this show.

I hadn't thought of this as a possibility, but it makes sense.

I don't understand why an aromantic person would want to be in a romantic, one-on-one relationship, though.
