Okay here is my thing, I can say that I think Nirvana in Fire is better than The Story of Ming Lan. Its pacing is much smoother, its easier to binge, it's also just brilliant! But idk why I will also choose The Story of Ming Lan over NiF if I have to choose a top 3.
