Once Fate rewrote history it seemed to affect all the memories of the beings below him (mortals and demons). Except for He Xianwo for some reason kept his memory of Zhao Ming so he called out the book for its lies. Fate's rewrite messed with Zhao Ming's memory of the event and was able to actually turn him into a demon. The betrayal memory was additional drama added by the screenwriter, the novel ZM didn't have false memories. He Xianwo calling out the lies was also drama original. I think there's a little imperfection with consistency on this because the screenwriter added a little more but maybe someone can figure out a way to make it logical. I enjoy the story still and can overlook these little things.

I know, I'm happy to see some update. I keep checking for updates periodically. I thought it was going to air last year but I guess not. And I was surprised there wasn't more information shared by the drama's social media accounts

Since you seem to like the xianxia dramas that you've watched, you might like this one better after you watch some more. Admittedly the cold open throws you in without much introduction or explanation but things will be explained. A large part of the appeal are the reveals and the couple's chemistry, which come after the audience gets to know the characters and see their interactions first.

I didn't watch Song of the Moon but Blossoming is very enjoyable. Two male characters adore the FL. ML was resistant at first but he melted easily because FL is so likable.
