IT'S UP THERE WITH KLUEN CHEEWIT

Out of all Mark's dramas this and Kluen Cheewit are the most impressive.

REASONS TO WATCH:

1. STORY
- It sounds like all rom-com thai dramas, spoiled girl meets guy, misunderstandings happen, they fall in love but NO. It's way more than that, deals with PTSD, and so much more!
- really a full circle drama, everyone has character development!
2. ACTING
- KAO IS in my TOP 3 Thai Actresses now, this is MINDBLOWING, seeing all her sides: Her crazy, her sweet side, her funny side, and her traumatized state. She's such a well-written complex character, hard to play and her eyes are so expressive.
- Mark Prin also keeps impressing me, Kluen Cheewit is my fav Thai drama of all time, and he never disappoints
- He's such a CONVINCING ASSHOLE, and then he flips the switch and I'm SWOONING
- THE ROMANCE MAKES ME SOFT. Their gazes are soft, their demeanour is so convincing.

3. BEAUTY
- Bless my eyes, everyone is beautiful in this drama

4. SCENERY
- THE FARM CASTLE is STUNNING, the flowers, fountains and Thai houses are NEXT LEVEL, paired with the nature a perfect setting
-the number OF SUNSET SHOTS WOW

5. FASHION
- There's a major white/pastel aesthetic going on, not over the top glam, but natural and pretty
(OMG I was dying over Ling's outfits, Paeng's too, so beautiful and elegant)

6. MUSIC
- THE OPENING SONG and that one sad theme song is the best!

Totally would rewatch this

A TVB CLASSIC

This is one of those TVB dramas that gives me so much nostalgia and is one of the original undercover cops vs mafia dramas. The cast is wonderful, it does suffer some pacing issues here and there, but overall it is definitely a classic!

Plus the romance in this drama was great! Despite all the big-named actors, the character that stood out the most to me is "Laughing" played by Michael Tse. He's brilliant!

Also, this was one of the first dramas I've seen Michael Miu in. He is a veteran actor, so he definitely delivers in the acting department. I would recommend this drama to anyone who've seen a couple of TVB/ HK cop dramas before because I understand that it can be a little overwhelming/confusing for those who start off with this drama. Then they can come back and enjoy this drama more, once you understand some of the tropes or how HK dramas would differ from other countries' dramas.

I think I rewatched this drama 4 times already xD I love it!

LOVELY CHARACTERS , FUNNY AND ADDICTIVE DRAMA!

I am SO IMPRESSED with Mandy Wong's acting! She really shines, I love all her 3 personalities.
Just like most people, I was confused by the title "Threesome" but it definitely makes sense since Evie has DID, 3 characters.

1. EVIE aka the BOSS
- She is dependable, hardworking, smart and cold on the outside but the truth is she's very vulnerable and has loads of self-esteem issue which triggers her other personalities
- She's so cool in court, she's the best in the law field and has a reputation to uphold
- Unfortunately, she lost all her childhood memories before age 10 (which is when she developed DID)

2. PINA COLADA aka. THE TROUBLEMAKER
- The name xD, Pina is an aggressive, extroverted character that does what she wants when she wants
-She's reckless, crazy, where Evie takes the high role and keeps quiet about her feelings Pina is strong and will SLAP you straight up!
-She enjoys living life spontaneously and is super fun to watch

3. MAK MAK aka The PRECIOUS PURE SHY ONE
- MANDY IS SO CUTE AS MAK MAK, she loves food, she's a crybaby and is scared of everything xD

BENJAMIN YUEN as Kai was impressive too! He makes the show enjoyable, he's caring and kind, but hilarious at the same time! I love the back and forth bickering between him and Evie!

I also really LOVE THE OPENING MUSIC, there's one English OST that plays during flashbacks to Evie's childhood which is nice too

However, I can't give this a 10 since the drama really starts to pick up at ep 8-9! The first eps were a bit slow. Definitely one of the best DID representations I've seen in Asian Dramas. It's pretty rare to see mental health in HK dramas, and I'm impressed!

Okay so where do I begin? This drama is by far the most refreshing romance drama that I've seen in a while. There is something about the characters that makes me unable to turn away. This drama felt REAL. Unlike cutesy, beautiful kdramas.... this drama had aspects of the ups and downs of a real relationship and the interaction between the leads are amazing!

To be honest, I admit I wasn't hooked right away, but there's something so addictive and so real about the characters and their relationships Not every single episode was full of super cutesy moments or plot twists...rather than that, the drama has a more natural flow and pacing.
It was slow, but not draggy...it was enjoyable to see how all the cast interacted even though most their personalities were completely different.

Anyways to sum it up, here's my list of reasons why you should watch Another Oh Hae Young:

1. One of the most realistic female leads ever. She goes through so much and still stands her ground.
2. REAL KISSES, not the wide eyed , no lip movement B.S in so many kdramas
3. Awesome Bromance!
4. AMAZING SOUNDTRACK. The music is so DAMN GOOD!
5. A unique love story
6. SUPERB Acting!
7. Lots of character growth!
8. Learn awesome facts on how the sound effects in kdramas, movies and shows are made (It's super cool to watch throughout the drama)
9. Lots of deep conversation and beautiful monologues
10. It's so much fun!

If you're still unsure. Just go youtube some Fan Made Videos and I'm sure you will fall in love.
Anyways, if you haven't watched this yet give it 4 episodes and it will do it's magic. My initial thoughts were "it's alright" but now I realized that I would have missed out on such an amazing drama if I dropped it. It was so good that I forced myself to not watch the last ep until 2 months after because I didn't want it to end Lol.

THIS IS PEAK TVB! A+++

So I remember watching this vaguely as a 9 y/o w/ my parents, and 12 years later WOW I am BEYOND impressed. This drama is so well written, so full of intense moments. The golden age of TVB dramas was when their scripts and writing for complex characters were so intricate like this. Older dramas' stories really do shine brighter than many modern ones because it was more about the plot itself and the writing of the script that sold the dramas compared to beautiful faces and popularity now. The leads are SO CHARISMATIC, truly an IRREPLACEABLE PAIRING. That final episode was WOW, it's what so many modern dramas lack, a story that goes beyond the plot and current times, you see their entire lives. Everything truly went full circle the writers made me feel so many emotions, but truly was so addicted to this drama I took a day off and did nothing but binge haha! This is a must-watch for anyone who likes a drama with really great action, writing, characters etc. The family moments are so wholesome as well, everything is 100/10 if you ask me. I do wish it was 35 eps so we got more moments but still quite satisfied with it.

It was very real, the wartime struggles, just finding simple happiness in eating together really reminds you to cherish your loved ones and the present, at the end of the day so much money, wealth our care about outer appearance means nothing without having to share it with the people you love. The FL played by Sharon had my eyes glued to the screen, such a shame she doesn't act in too many dramas. The anger, anguish, desperation, love and loyalty in her eyes and same with Wayne is beyond words! The opening song is so EPIC and is forever stuck in my head now. Truly nothing but good things to say about this one! IT'S ON ANOTHER LEVEL!

OBSESSED WITH THIS DRAMA

As a longtime TVB fan, I, unfortunately, keep seeing disappointing scripts or things that start off so good but does not end up delivering but this drama DIDN'T WASTE A SECOND. Very well written and the characters are all complex.

You really fall for the main cast of characters because they are so fleshed out, this is a bit different from the police procedural HK cop drama, there are episodic cases, but for the most part, there was a lot of care and set up in the script that. When I think about describing this drama in one word I would say "CHARACTERS" because each one has a very solid story and isn't just there for the sake of convenience which is something that bothers me a lot about dramas. It all ties together because the female lead of the brother-sister duo is a social worker, the brother is a slow learner in social and interpersonal relationships, but is incredibly gifted in other areas like math and tech. I like that the entire cast is accepting of the fact and doesn't baby him or look down on him. The other male lead probably with the most screen time is Kenneth's character as a psychologist and I really felt for him unable to move on from his wife's death.

MUSIC: the one track that plays every time Kenneth imagines his wife is SO CATCHY someone DM ME THE TITLE IF YOU KNOW PLEASE and thank you!

All the logic, the endings or stories of the characters all make sense, the dynamic of the main cast works as well. The brother/sister duo feels legit, and the romance and side plots do too. No one stands out as awkward in terms of acting or chemistry. Definitely underrated, but deserves as much praise as other dramas in the genre.

TENS ACROSS THE BOARD

ACTING: Amazing, love the cast, so much tension and the chemistry between the trio.

PLOT:
-Fast-paced!
- INTENSE PSYCHOLOGICAL MOMENTS AND MIND GAMES
- Addictive! I keep finding myself clicking the "next ep" button!
- It's a bonus that both male leads are very good looking

SIDE PLOTS/CHARACTERS
- really well written
- Really liked Tony Hung's character arch
-Lots of little revelations that added to the story here and there
- The female lead's dad is hilarious and cute at the same time xD

REWATCH VALUE:
10/10 (this is actually a drama I rewatched, just as thrilling and addictive as the first time)

BEAUTIFUL, ICONIC, WATCH IT!

This drama focuses on 2 couples, one is more melodramatic, while the other is more cute/funny.

I have to say as much as I loved all 4 actors, Kevin Cheng and Niki Chow's storyline steals my heart, everything about the pair is so beautiful. I bawled my eyes out being so attached to the characters!

I noticed TVB dramas don't get enough love on this platform so here I am going through my list and reviewing dramas that left a big impression in my mind.

Honestly, this is super short and deserves a chance for those who are hesitating to start, just do it! One of the best Hong Kong dramas that focuses purely on romance.

REWATCHED AFTER 14 YEARS STILL IMPRESSED

So I watched this as a kid with my parents, and vaguely remember it was good, and the acting was great, but after rewatching it again after 14 years with a sibling, I'm even more impressed that the story holds the test of time!

Such an interesting Psychological, Life Drama. The characters are SO COMPLEX! All of them!
Bosco Wong is INCREDIBLE as a depressed kid with major social anxiety, and trauma, to see his character grow is so heartwarming and satisfying to watch!

The complicated relationships between all the characters in the latter half are so gripping, the only downside is that it can feel a bit slow at the time and FRUSTRATING because the EVIL SIDE keeps winning, but it's WORTH THE WATCH either way.

Benz Hui plays one of my favorite characters here as a loyal bromance mediator!

To summarize Dicey Business is:
HILARIOUS, TOUCHING, ADDICTIVE, and the card games are SO INTERESTING! The cast is PERFECTION!

FAST PACED- ACTION PACKED PERFECTION

I decided to just rewatch a couple of eps for fun, but then I got SO HOOKED and was blown away by the details in the story. The intricate plotlines, characters, and the undercover situation are SO WELL WRITTEN. The cast is amazing, and the characters are very complex, including the villain. They aren't just one-dimensional characters who are evil for the sake of it, but they have other sides where you start to feel sympathy. I also loved all 3 of the main couples, absolutely brilliant!

It's a 10/10 for me. Raymond Lam and Charmeine's chemistry is unbeatable. I love all the strong female characters in this drama, and the family dynamics (the 3 stepmoms). It has everything that will make you laugh so hard, cry, and scream from anxiety (the best dramas usually does).

Despite the dated appearance of the drama, it really is one of the best HK dramas made. So worth watching!

I just finished the last episode of Live and I don't even know where to begin
This show is AMAZING. The acting, cast, writing and production is SO ON POINT!
The older casts in the drama (the mentors) are all pros in the acting field, just that alone is a great reason to watch, their portrayal of their character was spot on, especially as a cop and dealing with so many cases in an episode!

This drama makes you feel all the different types of emotions from just watching one episode, you cry due to touching moments , sad moments, there are precious cute squad moments and friendships and bonds in this drama that will make you want to keep watching!

It is not a typical romanticized version of cops that we usually see on tv or in dramas, instead this show displays all the realistic sides of the police team member's lives and their job. From episode 1, it shows the injustice and problems females face due to gender inequality. Jeong-Oh/the female lead graduates from the same school as her friends and even applies to the same job, but never gets it due to discrimination. This leads her to change her career and become a cop. Throughout the drama we see how much she grows as a character and all the hardships that she face.

But what I love the most is as the episodes go on, viewers are introduced to all the members on the police team, the captain, the chief, Yang Chon and the other mentors, mentees and rookies. Each and every person has a story and is never left out making you really care for them all. The bond and loyalty that they share are just amazing to watch.
ALL THE RELATIONSHIPS IN THIS DRAMA WAS SO PRECIOUS!

The OST was so perfect especially that english one I swear everyone in the comment section where I watched the drama was saying great things about the OST.

So basically NO THIS DRAMA IS NOT OVER HYPED, GO WATCH IT! 10/10

Good Acting Enjoyable Story

I needed a light-hearted drama and decided to put this on as background noise and was surprised by how much I liked it.
Mandy Wong plays a pregnant cop that is striving for her best for her baby. She really does the most and starts off on the wrong foot with the Nothing Special Force, but in the end, she grew to love them. Ben's character is super sweet and caring in this drama.

The cases are hit or miss, but since the force focuses on random cases, there is a good variety in this drama. Of course, the cases near the end are the most interesting.

Music-wise the theme song really matches the vibe, it's upbeat and fun!

My main complaint is the lack of romance. There was more focus on the side couple with Jacqueline and C Kwan's characters compared to the leading pair. I was a bit annoyed at first but ended up enjoying the second couple's storyline in the end too.

Overall, enjoyable watch!

HILARIOUS, ADDICTIVE, ACTION-PACKED!

BROMANCE? CHECK!
COMEDY? CHECK!
ACTION? CHECK!
ROMANCE? CHECK!
ACTING? THE BEST!

MUSIC? The opening song is so catchy, but I don't recommend watching it all the time because of spoilers but it really grows on you!

I think this is the best HK drama that came out this year. It has all my favorite gang/undercover tropes with a twist. The acting is perfect! And I really loved Ko Bun played by Owen, he was my favorite character (I hope he gets more comedic roles in the future).

This drama also had many sweet and heartwarming moments between the siblings. A MUST WATCH!

Where to start? I just binged it for 3 days straight and all I can say is:

This DRAMA HITS YOU IN THEM FEELS AND IT'S BEAUTIFUL
-It's very similar to my favorite slice of life dramas "Because this is my First Life" and the Reply Series

- YOU WILL LOVE ALL THE CHARACTERS
-The group of characters are SO DIFFERENT with Yan Mo being the smart cold guy, Qiao Yi the relatable kind girl that's always trying her best, Hao Wu Yi an impulsive girl who wears her heart on her sleeve and Guanchao the sweetest brother, and person who appears to be a playboy on the surface
-We get to see their interaction with one another, how they fall in love and their hidden insecurities and issues throughout the drama
- The side characters and side stories are all precious too

- NO MATTER WHO YOU ARE IT IS RELATABLE on some level
- It's all about growth, growing up, finding yourself and struggles you will come to face in life

A lot of people complain about its pacing but I really think that its what makes the drama feel so realistic and fleshed out, it makes you love all the characters and when the touching moments hits you'll be trying to hold back your tears.

- THE RELATIONSHIPS ARE SO REAL AND SO PRECIOUS
- It makes me wish I had a close-knit group of friends in high school that stuck around
- just seeing the characters interact with each other tugs at your heartstrings, the bond the main cast has with their highschool teacher Mr. Gao also never leaves the show too

A LOT OF BEAUTIFUL MONOLOGUES AND LIFE LESSONS
- Qiao Yi often narrates over montages at the end of an episode and it really ties the episode together so props to the drama writers

THE MUSIC IS THE BEST
- I love the cute opening song but my favorite is the slower ending song, by the time the last episode rolls around IT HITS HARD

If you love slice of life, realistic romances, friendship and a nice coming of age story, this drama is for you
9/10 for me (since it wasn't a wow that was so original or mindblowing, but it's just a perfectly written and well acted drama) You really end up caring for every single character in the show! I never rewatch but I will definitely have the OST on my playlist!
