Also on IMDB. I let it slide if it's just comments but some people are rating the show low for this lame reason and I'm mad.

Lol. Already the director / producer made this drama very stylish for a mob story set in the 90s.

Sigh. When I read the synopsis, I was already expecting a different look. Also didn't expect the fighting scenes to be the same as K2. Yet I read in reviews (here and IMDB) criticizing that the fight scenes are street fighting , not choreographed, etc. I mean these are gang fights...what do you expect? It's not a superhero story.

I like JCW for the way he characterizes each role differently. It's rarely the same look.

This drama is painful to watch at some points because of the topic. I found myself wanting to drop but at the same time keen to know the plot. The storytelling was well-handled and the wrap-up was very satisfactory. Maybe some viewers dislike the flip-flop style of current-past storytelling but I thought it was clever. Definitely deserves a higher rating.

Exactly. And he was a police officer in the countryside! Really no respect for those who choose not to understand the setting but only want the actor to look fancy for them. This is not a Healer Season 2 or K2 Season 2!

Should a police officer running around chasing criminals look hot and sleek? How is it we need to compare a character in a now-drama with a past-drama? The premise is different and the actor has to be in character to be convincing. I get it if you don't think he fits the role or his acting is an eyesore to you in the drama but IMO, it's low of people to criticize an actor just cos they don't look like how they used to look in a previous drama.

Where is it trending? Any links?

Yeah, especially those who rated 10 or very high should go and check and adjust the episodes. Perhaps it was an oversight but to readers, they can look like fake reviews.

He's looking like his character...a country bumpkin police officer turned mole.

When I look at the start of the first episode again, the look on the wife is more disappointment than horror that I'd initially thought. The husband no longer showed any hesitation in killing so It might be possible for him to have reached a point of no return. Something must have changed in terms of his goal point. I also hope it's not a tragedy but there's usually no happy ending for such plots. Let's just hope it'll at least be satisfactory.

MDL rating cannot be taken seriously.

Both guys have quite a lot of similarities. Both have troubled family, seems to have deep-rooted issues of insecurity, need quick success, willing to take big risks for power, and most important of all, love the same gal. Am vested to see how they will turn out in the end...who is willing to let go first.

I wonder when we'll get to see the scene in the trailer where he rolled through the field. It looks epic. I thought it'll be early on but apparently not.

Also, in the trailer, there is the scene of both of them in uniform receiving some sort of award? If that's at the end, then we have hope.

Yikes. Need to prepare my heart for such a possibility. Also, I remember hearing him say that he can turn back in the trailer. From the comments I've read, it seems his wife told him to stop the undercover operation so this could be the reason...that she saw the changes in him.
