My guess it was explaining about his feelings for her, how much she was important to him, and about why he took his life. That as much as she was important to him, it was not enough to let him continue his life. But she already had figured things out and had started to move on. Reading it might throw her back into unrequited grief.

When he kisses her, she closes her eyes, opens them, looks at him, looks away, widens briefly, looks at him and then closes. She was mentally prepared to accept the kiss as she has feelings for him as shown in scenes earlier.

Up till then, the evil Li Ludo had asked her why she didn't ask the question on her mind. That was "Why did he invite her to dinner ?" That was where she dressed up and he dressed casual. It showed that they still aren't certain about each other's feeling towards each other. When Bai shows up at Huo Huo's house and drags her away, watch and listen to her as she pulls back to get her bag. It wasn't a strong protest like just before. then when he's talking to her just before the kiss, she's expecting some sort of confession, not his complaints. It gives us a chance to see how she feels about the burden of being together in the time loop. Then Bai kisses her to show his real feelings. And she accepts it, but runs away in embarrassment, but but feels good about it inside. just my thoughts imho.

Not paying attention to the other two stories so far. As it seems so far, outside Wang Jun's Mother's hospital room, Pan Xiao's clenching fist shows doubt/conflict with her relationship with Wang Jun. If gym guy steps in, what would make him more acceptable to her Mother? Status and wealth. One reason for the tension with turtle guy is the quite austere lifestyle in saving for a house. So income may probably come into play. Gym hunk currently doesn't have a job that should bring in the lifestyle to satisfy her Mother.

ep. 8 Doesn't look good for turtle guy. We still don't know why he wanted to break up and he still won't come clean on what he has done to Pan Xiao Chen. Looks like gym guy will get her in the end. Gym guy seems to be fighting effectively for her heart. He has helped somewhat in sowing the seeds of doubt in her mind. She kinda knows what has been going on but not everything. Turtle guy's family may be one reason for his wanting to break up. Her Mom isn't helping either. I wonder if gym guy will be rather rich due to his Singapore family. That would decisively swing thing his way.

I like Lan Ying Ying from The Best Partner and Time Seems to Have Forgotten, so her story is pretty interesting for me. Wish Wang Jun didn't follow them around like a love sick puppy. The other two stories are OK.
