If this is the first time seeing her. Amy Sun was kinda the same character in The Resilient Dr. Ling (2024) but that throat grabber ML could have been written better. She was the BF in Love in a Loop (2022) but her nicest comedic drama was The Blessed Bride (2022) Smart but silly. Her maid is a gem, too. Yes basis idea and characters, but different interpretation. The beginning is pretty funny.

Friendship with Chu Qiu. Arm holding friendship. Ep. 30 37:35.

The actor Zheng He Hui Zi is listed as a guest role. The comments generated about her acting compared with Ju Jingyi caused her to issue an apology. Zheng He Hui Zi was the FL's bodyguard in Wonderland of Love. (2023) She was Luo Ning in Song of the Moon (2022) She supported her lover by holding him from behind in the final battle and both were stabbed by a force sword. But the after scene seems to show them being reborn. The drama that she was the FL was Ugly Beauty, (2021)

Watched until ep. 9 and peeked at ep. 20. This drama is engaging and the three main characters are doing fine. The brother seems to have the greatest arc. Wonder what his fate will be.

Ep. 8 when they were taking the photos and he was very close they seem to show him falling for her. And at the candle lit table, her eyes flutter when she looked at him.
XinTong comes across as assertive/pushy but I suspect it come froms growing up in an orphanage. Be interesting to se the romantic version of her. EP. 8 was sweet. Ep. 9 felt a little cringy, But the series is still good. This drama charts its own course after initially looking like A Business Proposal.

Julia Xiang did very well. She is building on her portrayals as a strong female.

Some pretty funny moments. In ep. 3 at the window when she knows not enough and he knows too much.

Finished all 24 episodes. Enjoyed all of them. Worth watching.

Good comments, but the reason why Feng Shiye was the last to be killed was that he bore primary responsibility for what happened to Mo Qingchuan. He did not start the war, his Father did, but his army killed her Father and three brothers and left the weakest Mo in charge. He turned Mo Junyo by offering his captured son. And it would seem that he is enabling her revenge by releasing her. But her revenge also removed the Empress and Gen. Cao and destabilized the Xia kingdom under an inexperienced Prince. With Mo Qingchuan married in Chu, there was really no effective force nor General able to resist his plans to invade and conquer Xia. Snake in sheep's clothing.
I do think that some viewers liked him because Feng Shiye by comparison to boyish sensitive Xia Qiguang was a more commanding and virile person.

You have to go back to ep. 5 - 00:46 when Gen. Qingchuan and Chen Siqi are cornered at the Chuanhe Inn by the Chu Army and Feng Shiye. The same scene if continued in ep.13 - 02:53 where Feng Shiye confronts Mo Chigchuan at that inn where she has killed 1,000 soldiers. Feng Shiye tells her if she dies, she will not find out who betrayed her. So she surrenders. They made a deal that she would later be released, but kept in thrall by poison that needed constant antidotes. Ep. 13 21:53 And it is revealed that after 3 years she must return to Chu to marry him. (The female doctor removed the poison) I don't think the Chu poison is the reason why she lost her power. Ep. 7 During the fight with the assassin team, we see that she must touch her neck to activate the Dawn Break. Ep. 7 - 24:19 Dr. Fang Du says that her current weakness is due to the wounds suffered imprisoned in Chu. But she also says that there are two inner powers in her. One is Dawn Break but there is another that gives her power that heals but also corrodes. The two don't balance, so she riskes her life by using Dawn Break.
Feng Shiye knows that Mo Qingchuan never loves him and is like an untamed eagle that he desires as a prize, not a partner. All of the terms were his but she would never carry them out. Hence the final duel where she kills him.

Ep. 1 3:07. When Mumu is leaving, her Mom says, "He is not your brother and your'e not his sister."

The third mystery at the dance hall had some good moments.

Pretty good. I'm following it. Caught up to ep. 13. Not a great drama but the three leads work well together.

There may temporarily be a problem with ep. 10. For a day or two it was cut at the 4-5 minute mark. But today 11 Dec it seems OK. Possibly it has to do with children.

The three leads complement each other well. Mystery three begins at ep. 11. Worth a look.

Episode 1 Not bad. No dummies among the leads and each has something to prove.
