Sorry to say, I don’t agree with you as I’ve watched all of them too. You should wider your perception. I…
Sorry to say. Although you make some valid points, I would have to agree with Synchonicity. MAME does appear to be obsessed with man/man rape tropes, as well as other toxic stereotypes. I agree with you that she exposed the audience to those who have been victimized, as well as the deeds of "bad" people. However, in her world, "evil" seems to prevail, and there seems to be "no" justice for the victims (at all). Yes, they seem to find "true" love down the line, after being victimized (often horrifically). YES, it makes for a great story in the BL genre (as toxic as it may be). But, NOT all stories in the BL world have to be based on "love found after being sexually assaulted." Just like, NOT all stories in the BL genre have to be about "high school boys in blue shorts," "students in the colleges of medicine and engineering", or "university students preying on naive young high school boys". Thai BL has come along way in the past 5 to 10 years. Thank goodness it has evolved to where there ARE more stories and series of substance, where BL and lgbtq+ characters are more inclusive and accepted by the other characters, and a more realistic view of how people (including boys and men) who love each other ARE SUPPOSED TO TREAT EACH OTHER. Remember, BL stands for "Boys Love", with the emphasis (at least I hope) on the "LOVE".

I'm quite sure many posters probably felt the same way. I personally did not, and that's ok. I agree with you that it was most likely "honest story telling." But, then again, I would guess it depends on "who's" telling the story.
Also, I would respectfully disagree with you that the show dealt with the noted issues in a meaningful way. Here's an example: the characters in the series (including the mains) used sexual assault and violence to either gain control, torment, punish, or otherwise take revenge on other characters. Other than the "eventual" love story that came about between Tharn & Type, I fail to see how that is dealing with those issues was in a "meaningful" way.
Finally, you are correct in that no one's going to force anyone to watch this series. But, I think it's "very clear" how those issues fit into the story. Just, not how you thought they fit into the story.
The Tin/Can/dad recitation was ok. It kind of mimicked the novel, so it was ok. However, the rest of the episode was disjointed and was all over the place with Techno/Kla, as well as Tum with the other guy??
As someone who loved the show since the beginning, I'm very disappointed at how this ended. The finale was VERY…
Yeah, you're right. It did jump back and forth. But, you know, that's how romcoms end. I actually liked the ending. At least it wrapped up some of the loose ends. Hopefully, in season 2, the series will improve.
Okay! All I will say is this. Yes, this series had it's flaws. But, it also had its moments. And, this ending ep was one of those moments. Now that is how you end a romcom series! IMO, that was great!
I still love Tin/Can. They're the only thing keeping me going with this series... story is all over the place,…
Again, I agree with you about Tin/Can -- I, too still luv them. I also agree about the Ae/Pond dynamic. I never really thought about like that. But, Ae does treat him like crap, especially since it was Pond helping Pete to truly understand Ae (at least he did in LBC1). And, yes, the storyline is ALL over the place, with bits and pieces of the various storylines from the novel thrown in together.
Obviously, with only 2 eps to go, that's barely enough screen time to finish up the Tin/Can storyline. Which means the other storylines (couples) won't get a proper burial. Ooops, I meant resolution! LMAO!!
Well, since Season 2 has already been announced, I guess this season is more than likely end in a "cliff hanger." That way the fans will have to wait until next year to get some resolution on this relationship. Which also means that more than likely the start of the next season will center around a) Sky's and Ace's break-up with the "I just can't deal with it drama" storyline; b) either Sky or Ace (or both) finding another boyfriend/girlfriend leading to the "we can't have a BL without the jealousy storyline"; c) leading into the finale of the "the parents finally understand me, and the inevitable reunion of Sky and Ace AFTER 8/9 episodes of pure melodrama. LMAO! This train is getting ready to leave the station!!!! Hop aboard for the ride! LOL
Totally agree with the posts. The pacing of this series is really, really slow. It took (7) eps to tell the backstory, (1) ep to get to the present, and now only (4) eps left to complete the story.! Either a very bad script or very directing or both, I really can't tell which. But, what started out as an ok BL and now being drawn out needlessly.
