I have to admit. This ended up being a great series and definitely a good start for LYKN in the industry. The things I liked best in this series was these:
1) It WASN'T about uni boys from medicine and engineering; 2) It highlighted "real" issues that sometimes plague the "boy band" music industry in southeast asia; and finally, 3) OMG, there wasn't any made-up toxicity, overused tropes, or blatant out-of-date stereotypes. It was so refreshing to see!
The only issue I had with this series is that they kept William in those damn "lifts" or "elevator shoes" so that he would appear to be the same height as Est. Everyone knew he was shorter! What, you can't love someone who's shorter than you??? Geez! LMFAO!!!!
If I were to rate this series, I'd give it a solid overall 8.2!
The producers of this series did a very wrong thing with this series special (movie). It's true that you don't always have happy endings. But, this was not the way to end this series and to end Joker. I think it was a total let down to the fans of this series, and the fans should really let the company know it. I know I will. This was such an injustice to a series that was actually pretty good.
It seems that most of Oxin Films have become just "so over the top" with the overacting, stereotypes, tropes, and cringy behavior. Unfortunately, it seems this series has fallen down that trap already, and it's only the first episode. OMG!
This series is ok. But I think it would've been soooo much better if Hsiao Hung had been cast in the part of Wang Zhan. He and Parker Mao were so good together in You Are Mine.
Whether you liked The Last Twilight or not (I did), you have to agree that William Jakraptr literally killed that OST! That song was sung so beautifully that it's hard not to touch your heart!
Even though this series, and especially this ep. showed just how cut-throat and vicious the idol industry can be. In that respect this fantasy BL probably mimics real-life more than anything else. But, I just wished GMMTV hadn't used the old BL playbook in the script. Everyone knew that this break-up would happen around the second or third to the last ep., so the final eps can focus on the happy make-up. That's such lazy writing, and we've seen it happen many many times before. Just once it might be nice and interesting to have a few twists or something different happen in the story (especially at the end). LOL
From your comment, you obviously have personal beef with Mame and you're taking it out on the Actors, there has…
First, unless you're reading something else, I never said that there was rape or sexual assault in this series. That let me know that this conversation is both pointless and useless. I think you should look in the mirror for who's the real hater.
This series is really good and if it was as bad as you say you wouldnt watch. It seems your intentions are just…
First of all, that's your opinion. I have an opposite opinion. And for the record, you don't get to decide what anyone (other than yourself) can watch or not watch because you disagree with their opinion. If this is YOUR attitude, then you might consider going somewhere else. Second, as I told another poster, I have no personal feeling about Mame any sort of way. However, I can (and do) dislike what she writes and how she portrays her characters in her works. If you like or are into rape, sexual assault and sexual manipulation, then that's your thing and not mine.

I'm not sure your comment is accurate. But, you're entitled to your opinion, as am I. However, for the record, I have no personal beef with Mame. But I will admit that I'm NOT a fan of her portrayal of rape, sexual assault, and sexual manipulation of the characters in her works and portraying it as "love" or a way to express love. Now, if that makes me a hater, as your comment suggests, then I guess you were right and I own it.
But I still hate those damn "lifts" GMMTV is using to make Mark appear to be taller than Ohm. GMMTV needs to stop that crap! LMFAO!
