My only concern with this series, thus far, is this. The pacing of the main is "extremely" slow. It's already been (3) eps. and we're still dealing with the "agnst" of these two. At some point, the plot needs to progress beyond that, so we can get to the rest of the story.
Yeah, the spanking scene was different. Unfortunately, everything else was the same old trope-like, stereotyped BL behavior we keep seeing. Oh well, at least they weren't in "blue shorts" and still in high school! LMFAO!
That is part of the "Mameness" I was talking about. Her stories tend to have the following: 1) Gay or Bi male…
IMO, yes, and with some guys as well. The industry (and especially Mame) tend to really play up the hubby/wifey type of relationship, which is only one type of lgbtq+ relationship.
I thought I was the only one to not really like it.I don't get with the plot. I like the beginning in medias res,…
Again, this is how Mame writes her stories. At least in ep. 1, Payu finally got off of Rain, EVEN THOUGH Rain told him to stop MULTIPLE TIMES. Classic date rape scenario.
To be honest, I'm not sure if I liked it. By no means was it bad but it also wasn't great. I mean it's the first…
That is part of the "Mameness" I was talking about. Her stories tend to have the following: 1) Gay or Bi male tops pursuing "supposedly" non-gay bottoms; 2) Sexual assault, rape, or some other form noncon behavior; 3) The Gay/Bi tops tends to always be taller or larger than the bottom counterparts; and 4) The tops tend to take on male "hubby" role behavior, while the bottoms take "wifey/female" role behavior. Now granted, there are "fems", "ladyboys", "pan" and "trans" members in the lgbtq+ community. However, Mame's "bottom" characters never identify as such -- they generally identify as "straight" either with a girlfriend or chasing after a girlfriend.
I'm one of the ones that hate Mame stories. But, this series at least looks promising. I just hope the producers and director clean-up some of the "Mameness" out of it.
This series was much better than the original "short." Once again, the series would've been even better if it didn't play on so many of the old tropes and stereotypes.
