IMO, yes, and with some guys as well. The industry (and especially Mame) tend to really play up the hubby/wifey type of relationship, which is only one type of lgbtq+ relationship.

Again, this is how Mame writes her stories. At least in ep. 1, Payu finally got off of Rain, EVEN THOUGH Rain told him to stop MULTIPLE TIMES. Classic date rape scenario.

Yep, especially in Mame series. I just hope there's no sexual assault or drunk rape sex, etc. in this series. Mame is known for that.

That is part of the "Mameness" I was talking about. Her stories tend to have the following: 1) Gay or Bi male tops pursuing "supposedly" non-gay bottoms; 2) Sexual assault, rape, or some other form noncon behavior; 3) The Gay/Bi tops tends to always be taller or larger than the bottom counterparts; and 4) The tops tend to take on male "hubby" role behavior, while the bottoms take "wifey/female" role behavior. Now granted, there are "fems", "ladyboys", "pan" and "trans" members in the lgbtq+ community. However, Mame's "bottom" characters never identify as such -- they generally identify as "straight" either with a girlfriend or chasing after a girlfriend.

I'm one of the ones that hate Mame stories. But, this series at least looks promising. I just hope the producers and director clean-up some of the "Mameness" out of it.

This series was much better than the original "short." Once again, the series would've been even better if it didn't play on so many of the old tropes and stereotypes.

Well, to begin with, back to the "blue shorts" roles (I finally thought the genre was getting past that - I guess not). Then, of course, there are the familiar tropes and stereotypes starting to crop up, even in this first episode, to name a few. It's okay if folks like watching these kinds of series, again. But, as for me, I'm soooo done with it.

There is soooo much that is not cool with series I don't even know where to begin. So, I won't begin at all and just drop the series for awhile.
