When she ran to the fighting, I was like, Lady, what can you do? Well, I was so wrong about her. Zero martial art skills, no problem, she observed the situation and used tricks up her sleeves to help her Third Brother. I laughed so hard when she squashed Cheng Lang's dirty sniper trick and when she startled LJX's men with the fire crackers that helped SY and his men to escape. And he, kind of dummy giving her a will and letter like that. He should have known by now that their bond is unbreakable and that, like she said, how could she live happily if anything happened to him? She was right to be upset.
I have to praise the director for the scene at the end of ep 24 when YN told SY her deepest secret. No dialogs, No showing facial expressions, sad, sorrow, crying, angry, just her back facing him and him lowering his head with his fists clenched - just simple but emitting deep impact on viewers.
As far as I remember ml has saved fl three times till ep 22 in life and death situation.
I dont fault her for those times when the vilains tried to kill her. The only time she was out of her character was end of ep21 when she went out by herself. I think im done with these arguments .
also want to point out that not every fl needs to be well versed in martial arts to be acclaimed as strong...some…
The criticism seems to find faults on anything FL did, and ignores what she did for him. Yes, saving doesn't have to be physical saving but some fail to see that
I'm not sure some of us even watch the same drama. The leads are the most in-sync so far. Each can guess and see through what the other is doing. So there is nothing really hidden between them except for their deepest secrets. She got mad at him for withholding stuff from her? No, She figured out the testimony and knew he deceived her, pretending to like the painting. She even gave the painting to him after knowing he sneaking into her chamber to try to steal it. She was mad at him for not coming clean after all that they went through together. He constantly saves her, when? The only time he saved her was ep 22, bad script there. He saved her on first episode too, but was not her fault. Speaking of saving, it's not a one way street thus far. They both save each other. Same old, same old, always the FL gets criticized on everything.
Mixed feeling. More than half way and the main entanglements have not even been un-entangled for just one. Instead, too much time spent on secondary characters, six Uncle and six Miss. They were ok first few eps, adding few comic moments. But now it becomes repetitive and takes time away from the main story. On a good note, the Mom's doppelganger is gone. Hope she's gone for good. It' just me, something about that character that I just don't like.
The druken scenes were well shot, beautiful setting, perfect lighting. YN was quirky, funny, and adorable like a kitten when resting her face on SY's chest. And SY, the look that melts a thousand hearts.
The drama is also upgraded from S to S+ due to its popularity. It's a dark horse for sure with little promotion, only 1.9 mil reservations. Congrats to RM, ZWY, CS, whole cast and crew, writer, director. Aside from our 3 main leads, who are slaying their roles, other characters, big or small are well crafted. At the end of the day, the success is a team effort, not just a single individual. Still, only half way, let's hope for the best.
The adaptation so far is ok. I appreciate that they keep Yi Ning role front and center for now as the novel is all about her. At the very least, the title is about her. However, I expect it will become more about both SY and YN later. So fans of ML should just be patient. They couldn't hep but had to add typical tropes like fake miscarriage and poison. But I hope they don't add amnesia trope which I hate with a passion.
Jin Xiu An Ning with young cast and small fan base is holding itself well against other dramas with veterans, big names, big fan base. I hope the drama keeps its momentum and does well till the end.
It was a gaze of a man to a woman. And that hug, too long, too intimate for a brother to a sister. And that gentle touches to wipe away tears on her cheeks. I'm so uncomfortable. IMO, she's old enough to know and notice that.
Bruh, deja vu all over again. Some comments nicely suggested that RM was not charming enough to draw out the obsession of men or handling reverse harem. And that production, writers have to tone down, removing that aspect. And here I thought scripts have to be in place then production team would find artists who are suitable for the roles. They could have casted an actress who was charming enough. Why would they cast RM and have to re-write, tone down the script for her? Why went through the trouble ? It would have been a big change. With the story thus far, that they had to remove the love line between Lin Mao and Luo Yi Xiu. Then added bunch of creepy stuff he did to Yi Ning. Better go ask the writers/director instead of speculating based on your bias.
so the sml was blind when he met the fl? so the fl thinks the sml tried to killed and won’t tell him that she…
He'll find out eventually, won't mistaken her with anybody else. He's in love with her so he wont harm her. Someone tried to kill her and framed it as sml. Thats why she's scared and didnt want to reveal her real identity
The adaptation had to change a lot to pass censorship like the age of Yi Ning and re-incarnation. But some changes that I don't really like, like it added things that made the villains more despicable than they should be. The intention was to make our blood boiled I guess. Also the relationship between YN and LJX was much deeper in the novel.
Yi Ning almost gave herself away by looking completely petrified why LJX gazing longingly. And LSY, always be there at the right moment, calmly, collectedly rescued his MeiMei. The three of them conveyed their emotions very well. The acting was superb
Yes, that's the big change so far.Total around 5 to one in the novel. Beside ML, There are 2 characters that appear…
Lin Mao, Cheng Lang, ML, SML, and another one when she returned to the Duke's mansion, her real father, not counting the emperor who wanted her to be his concubine when he saw her at his banquet (big mistake the Duke brought her there and introduced her to the emperor)
Yes, that's the big change so far. Total around 5 to one in the novel. Beside ML, There are 2 characters that appear now who were supposed into her but weren't. I dont really care about one character since he was kind of not important. But the big disappointment is Cheng Lang. Didnt help that the acting of the actor was so flat.
