I wonder how many people here watch the drama and love the drama only, and how many also watch the interviews…
At first I only watched the drama only since I was too lazy to follow all the PR shows and materials, but then I came across ZZH and GJ's interview for Ace vs Ace and found that their interactions are extremely cute ^^ Since then I started following almost all the interviews and variety shows during WoH promotion period. They definitely contributed a lot to my enjoyment of watching this drama, knowing that the actors have such amazing chemistry both on and off-camera.

He's absolutely brilliant in it, as is the other actor that plays his brother. I almost cried watching it. I wonder if this is the show that made the WOH producer immediately chose him for ZZS role. I wish he would take more roles like this in the future that enables him to showcase his acting abilities.

I agree, I definitely don't want it to go the same direction as Thai BL where they cast young inexperienced actors and then typecast as BL actors. I wish they could go in the direction similar to Japan, where more and more mainstream and professional actors cast in BL drama/movie thus pushing up the quality. They also are not going to be typecast as "BL actors" since they are already professional actors and starring in BL is just one of their projects.

You're right! I now only watch those that got high rating in Douban at least they already pass the brutal filter of Chinese audience. I won't bother with the rest, they will most likely turn out to be romance drama with old tropes and clichés. And we really need variety of BL dramas, the current ones are so boring with same old stories and set up. I need more historical BLs and unfortunately only China can afford to produce that at the moment.
Honestly if BL drama is allowed in China, they will dominate the entire BL industry worldwide, given their resources and endless story materials. Sadly this can only happen in my imaginary AU for now.... *sigh*

WKX with white hair is hands-down the most dazzling white-haired character in the whole C-dramaland imo. It looks really natural on him (what's his secret??), compared to for example Dong Hua in Pillow Book or recently Miss the Dragon. They look so..fake..

Agree, especially ZZH he deserves much respect for his attitude and bravery. Him acknowledging all fans, including cp fans is the first in C-dramaland and looking at all his recent lives, he has a very firm attitude towards fans, he's like "I'm thankful for all your love, but please don't burden me with heavy love and share your love with others. Don't tell me what to do, and you're welcome to leave if you don't like it". Great education for the toxic fans!
