Anan interview translation by chii The one they posted video last January after weeks of drought lolhttps://twitter.com/motivateanger/status/1359186168525455365
Thanks Chii and Anan for making me smile like an idiot in the middle of the night xD If you can, please buy the Kindle version, their pics are so cute I can't help smiling. Looking forward to the special 12 pages next volume!
Keita will be appearing in this year's Taiga drama (Seiten wo Tsuke )https://twitter.com/nhk_dramas/status/1359006612313288706
You're fast Boron! lol. More info: He will play Hijikata Toshizo, the handsome and charismatic Vice Commander of Shinsengumi. He is my favourite Shinsengumi member, along with Okita Soji (thanks to Rurouni Kenshin). This year's Taiga drama is filled with handsome guys, I'm so excited XD Now I'm waiting for Akaso to appear either in Taiga drama or Asadora.
I rewatched episodes 6-8 today, out of nostalgia. Well, I found myself smiling like an idiot, trembling with joy…
I watched Valentine & Rokkaku ep few days ago and still smiling like an idiot lol. I tried so hard to move on, watched other BLs, some of them are good but none touched my heart like CM did. It truly is magical. You're right that part of the reasons why CM is so special to us is the whole experience we had with this little community here. The live comments, watch parties, fun stuffs and everything that we shared here (we literally shared EVERYTHING related to the show and actors) are an unforgettable experience. Not to mention that I met other wonderful CM fellow fans whose love and dedication is truly amazing. Thank you Cherry Magic.

Wow, thanks a lot Boron! Listening to his answer, I understand more and more why CM has touched many people's hearts, the actors gave so much love and attention to their roles and treasure them as much as we do.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-pok_sLqIj0&feature=youtu.be New Akaso interview with Mirror Media Taiwan (Machida did one before). His speaking Mandarin is very cute ^^ As usual, he never forgot to praise Machida :) Let's wait for someone to fully translate it, I'm sure someone will. It still amazes me that after more than one month after the show ends, there are still so many new materials, I can hardly keep up. Happy problem, I guess? ^^
So many hate on social media (here on this page too) about Arimura getting casted, wow. I'm a fan of her but okay…
I am a fan of the original manga, and I have to say that the live action version didn't disappoint. In fact it is one of the best manga adaptation in my opinion. I'm truly impressed with the martial art scenes, they are so sleek and graceful at the same time it's really a feast for the eyes. I originally couldn't imagine how the martial arts in the manga can be adapted into live action, but they really did an amazing job bringing them into live. Tomoe in the manga is an expressionless character, she is not good in expressing her feelings but definitely not emotionless. So I'm curious how Arimura will pull off this character.
I wonder how long we still need to wait even after it is already screened in Japan, before we intl fans is able to watch it (even raw version)? sigh.... *the pain of being intl fans of Japanese shows*
https://twitter.com/motivateanger/status/1354970650855657472 Machida's recent article in Sponichi. He is apparently very smart, likes math and can easily solve 6 sides of Rubik in 2 weeks time only. Honestly, is there anything he CAN'T do??
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BXgj9w7CvpA Finally someone made a 16 minutes (!) video full of Machida's dancing. Get ready for a feast for the eyes! Now I really feel bad for Yuutaro for having to dance in front of those professional dancers >.<
There is a list, I tole sunset about you, Gameboy, off course the best is "Cherry Magic" there is a lot.look for…
I'm a huge fan of Cherry Magic but i wouldn't call it a masterpiece, in fact it's far from being one. Its charm lies on its simplicity, the story is cute and sweet and watching it makes you feel happy and content. That's exactly what you need in this shitty times. Many people also can relate themselves to the story and characters thus it becomes darling to them. While ITSAY maybe a masterpiece that will blow you away, CM is a comfort drama that you can watch over and over again when you're in need of serotonin dose.
Wow, thanks for sharing this. I can only imagine how tough it must have been for him in the past 10 years. I mean,…
No problem! I made it a project to watch his past works and it took a while since there are so many. It's indeed tough, the fact that he only got his first leading role after 10 years shows how fierce the competition is. But thanks to CM, finally his charm and talent got discovered and he got the attention he deserves. At least now he already got 2 lead roles under his belt, so I'm really happy.
How could they not use those beautiful visuals and amazing acting skills of Keita, I really don't understand it.…
Japanese entertainment is really tough, there is no shortage of talented and good looking people, so sometimes you also need luck to make it. You're right, they are lucky to meet each other, created this wonderful work and made a breakthrough together.
I managed to check out most of Machida's past works I could get my hands on (which are a lot). I didn't watch the whole drama, but at least episodes with Machida in it just to check out his roles. I also deliberately skipped Guilty and Sukima Suki. Watching his past works, I kinda understand why, despite his looks and talent, he hasn't made it big in the past 10 years. His roles were either small supporting roles or they simply didn't stand out enough. I watched Last Chance before, I didn't even notice he was there T_T He did quite a variety of roles, but most of them are either rough/delinquent roles with kind heart or handsome/good guy roles. Kurosawa actually is not new for Machida, he has done quite similar roles before, but somehow he is really shining as Kurosawa. It also helps that he has the most chemistry with Akaso, compared to the other actresses/actors. It really is his breakout role so far. I hope he will continue to challenge himself with variety of roles, I especially want to see him as a genius detective or psycho villain, that'd be awesome.
Some updates of Akaso: - After his award yesterday, his Weibo followers increased sharply by more than 7K in one day to 97K followers now. He will soon reach 100K in less than one month since his opening Weibo account. - During his award ceremony, it was mentioned that his Weibo Super Topic has been read more than 140 million times, thus making him the hottest topic Japanese actor in 2020.
I came here immediately after I saw it I love it too. I'm so excited for this
Omg he totally has Kurosawa's vibes, even his hair is similar! Lol. And his scene with scarf, why it instantly reminds me of the walk with Adachi at the end of ep 8? Excited for next week!

Nishigaki Sho will play Amamiya in his high school days. Omg he can easily pass as Machida's younger brother. Machida-kun, your eyebrow got a serious competition here! XD
