I love Ep 6 but I dare not watch it as much as the other episodes, since my heart breaks everytime I watch it... we desperately need sweet moments after this >_<

Well, most of us have been suffering in the last 1.5 month and will continue in the next 1.5 month, so please have some pity on us lol.

Ah yes, those many emotions make him much more vivid in this episode.

I hate the fact that BL has increasingly becoming cheap sexualized commodity for quick money with shallow story and bad acting. I mean, just look at this drama, they haven't even kissed yet but the audience have already gone through so many emotional feelings, isn't this what a good drama is all about? And the one that will surely leave long lasting impression that those cheap ones.

I think you can do that, but I haven't tried though :D

Is it only me or Kurosawa looks exceptionally beautiful in this Ep6? I mean he always looks handsome, but in this episode he looks exquisite from every angle. And his long eyelashes..gosh..*envy*
And I can't get enough of Adachi's look during his college time, he looks absolutely cute!!

Actually the cast for Ossan's Love are all professional actors who are already quite well-known in Japanese entertainment industry. Nishijima Hidetoshi who plays in Kinou Nani Tabeta is also a senior A-list actor. Japan has stepped up their game in BL drama by casting professional actors so recently we saw visible improvement in the quality. I hope this will become a norm rather than an exception in the future so that BL genre will gain the respect it deserves.

Now we can see the vast difference between casting professional actors and inexperienced actors. I cringed at so many BL dramas for their awkward and stiff acting, it almost ruins my faith on BL dramas. Thank god for this amazing drama, I now have restored my faith!

Most of BL mangakas are female, and I haven't come across any male BL mangaka so far. BL is originally created by female for female audience to fulfill their fantasy, so it is not strange that majority of the authors are also female. To be honest, I'm not sure if a BL is created by a male mangaka, how much appealing it would be to women readers?

It is written in the preview "7 years ago, the moment when he fell in love", so it is correct :) Both of them are 30 and usually employees enter the workforce after graduation which is around 21 or 22 yo, so meaning they've been working for 8 or 9 years. Which also means that Kurosawa fell for Adachi not long after they entered the company.

Yes, I agree with you. Even though the story is great, the manga's art style is not very exquisite. For the drama to be able to cast such good-looking actors is such a pleasant surprise. To be honest, I didn't expect Adachi to be that good-looking and cute since in manga he is described as rather plain and gloomy.

I'm still hoping the face touching will be in Ep7..

There is a still where Kurosawa is feeding the porridge to Adachi, but it's not in the episode..

Has anyone noticed the porridge feeding scene is gone from the episode?

It's very likely the case, it's similar to the manga and the preview says "Adachi's answer will come out". Adachi baby, please don't let Kurosawa suffer too long...T_T
