Excellent translation! Thanks for your hard work :) I also couldn't catch several lines, but at least this episode is much easier to understand than previous one.
If I may add, the one when Kurosawa takes Hashimoto to elevator, I think he said "新しい担当は黒澤君、君で良かったよ” (I'm glad that the new person in charge is you Kurosawa). And also I thought Kurosawa says to Adachi "ありがとうな“ , doesn't it mean "Thanks"?
I'm also still learning Japanese, so please forgive if any mistakes :)

Actually when first watching it was Akaso that caught my attention, he is really cute and adorable. Especially the scene when he smiles in Kurosawa's imagination at the end of EP1, I was like "OMG.. his smile is so sweet!!". I didn't really find Kurosawa (Machida) very attractive at first. But then after watching it for 2nd and 3rd time, I was attracted more and more to Machida, his acting is really good and the more you look at this face, the more dashing he is (in my opinion). And now I tend to look at him more . Well, blame my very thick Cherry Magic filter now lol.

Oh yeah...his legs are very long and lean! Damn, he's getting more and more handsome by each episode :D

I don't remember Kurosawa says something like that in manga. He also felt frustrated and his feelings are getting out of control since living together, and he finally confesses to Adachi. After confessing, he goes back to his house.

The funny thing is that in the dream Kurosawa also says the same thing as he said to Adachi before "Do you know what it means?". I guess that sentence left deep impression in his brain LOL.

Kurosawa confesses first, and it takes a while for Adachi to finally responds to Kurosawa.

Even though it's a bit different from manga, but there should be nothing to worry about in my opinion. Imagine you live with someone you like but just as colleagues and you can't do anything about it. On top of that, Adachi seems to be getting more favored by his colleagues (eg: Rokkaku) and Kurosawa is getting jealous all the times. He likes Adachi so much but unable to confess to him, so he will feel frustrated. If me, I will also feel exhausted :D

And the princess carry!! Machida really lifted Akaso's whole body like that, he is really strong!!

I still feel that it is still in line with the manga, even though the order of timeline and the scenes might be changed a little bit but shouldn't effect all the important moments. Kurosawa stays at Adachi's home since his sister is living temporarily at his home and suggests him to stay with his colleague for the time being.
Looking at Ep6 preview, very likely that the confession will take place in Ep7. It's a bit different from manga where Kurosawa confesses first then he no longer lives with Adachi. As for the sentence he said at the end of preview, I also think it's still in line with manga in the sense that he lives with someone he likes a lot (but just as colleagues) and he swallows his jealousy all the time but can't do anything about it. I can imagine no one in his sane mind can endure this for a long time LOL.
My two cents though.

I feel this episode is very satisfying, I can't help feeling happy for Adachi when he was happy for being able to be useful to Kurosawa. His happy face is just perfect!! Another milestone episode for Adachi's character, both for his self-esteem and his feelings for Kurosawa.

At this point I have re-watched it many times enough to the point I can remember their expressions and what they say LOL.

It's growing fast! And quite popular too, looking at the number of hits.

LOL, I saw that too! Just checked the brand's Japanese online store and both navy and white color are sold out!! I also saw the stock in the Chinese official store also quickly sold out. This is Cherry Magic power :D

For me, I can't help laughing everytime I see that head-banging scene, especially Adachi with that watery puppy eyes @_@ Geez, how can a 30-yo adult man be so cute?? But maybe I'm already used to manga style, and this is still considered very mild compared to some other more silly drama..

But yeah, Japanese is pretty strict about copyright issue, there is also a magazine (forgot which one) posted a Twitter saying that it is copyright infringement to scan article from the magazine and put the scanned copy on Internet. Japanese fans also very seldom post any pics or screenshots on Twitter. So I guess as international fans we should respect that too.

You should see this one too, I think Machida is like the real-life Kurosawa, he's good looking and very good in a lot of stuffs (archery, dance, baseball etc) and he's being very humble about that :D

I just noticed a fun stuff on the official drama's poster. The background are sentences which are the inner thoughts of Kurosawa "I like him", "I like him so much", "He's so damn cute", "If only he just looks at me", "No rush, I will take my time slowly". LOL. No wonder Adachi looks so tense in the picture. I'm so loving the possessive Kurosawa :DD

I'm not familiar with Thai actors' way of doing promotion, but at least compared to how Chinese actors doing their promotion during their drama broadcast, it is also like heaven and earth T_T
Chinese actors will bombard their Weibo almost on daily basis with the promotional content of their work, doing live broadcast, fan meeting, variety show, etc. Compared to them, Japanese actors can look rather stingy with the promotional content, very few social media posts and only some interviews here and there. But Akaso Eiji did appear on live broadcast of Aoyama Fest last week and he promoted Cherry Magic there. He also signed few posters of Cherry Magic for some lucky fans. I wish I live in Japan so I can get one of those!! @_@

Is the cornered mouse movie out already? I'm a fan of the manga and knew that it's going to be made into movie but it was postponed due to pandemic and then I forgot about it.. the rating in MDL is not very high it seems?

That's true, Japanese movie/drama never depends on overseas market so the impact should be very limited. So far the discussions on Douban is still very fun and peaceful, don't know about Weibo though..
