I’m on ep 8 and I was like another half of the story? what else to tell? nothing much happened and the plot is moving at very slow pace. The only thing that keeps me watching is the humor that makes me having good laugh.

I think it’s not Netflix issue not promoting this drama as it’s not produced by Netflix. Castaway Diva was more on spotlight because of TvN, they’re good at promoting their dramas compared to jTBC.
At least on social media, I can see a lot of fan pages are promoting this drama from the teaser released. This drama is already no 1 in most of SEA regions

Again as I stated above, you do you. At this point, you sound like a broken record throwing your frustrations towards other dramas on this drama just because you’re tired of the trope of the drama. You asked for example of dramas, I replied and then you stated it’s rare and uncommon. But it still exists? Yes the trend seems to be this way, but it’s okay as there are viewers still enjoy this kind of drama and just because you don’t like it and think this is shitty, doesn’t mean this is shitty for everyone and your opinion is superior than others. Everyone has preferences and my OG comment is people are too quick to judge the characters in this drama with just 2 episodes, then all of sudden trends, other kdramas and feminism are being dragged along in the discussions. Maybe you need to chill a lil bit.
Some people just love good and simple kdrama and don’t really overanalyzing and questioning why ML is a one woman man and FL is dating a lot of other men. We all know that there are both men and women in real life that are monogamous and loyal to one partner, there are both men and women date multiple people in their lifetime before settling down and there are both men and women who are just red flags and trash.
As for SFL, I agree. I don’t like bitchy SFL and love it when dramas have a cool supportive SFL to the point that I want them to end up with ML instead. I have a lot of kdramas that I’m on team SFL to those nice SFL

Okay to name a few: Nevetheless, - ML kissed other girl other than FL and making FL confused as hell Twinkling Watermelon - One of the ML had another crush and pursuing the girl other than his actual loveline, his own FL Yumi’s Cells 2 - ML had a crush on other girl at work while still dating FL. He’s very much still in love with FL, but he had a wavering moment.

I think there were a lot of old kdramas that FLs were wimpy simpy as well, but you do you on your opinion.
I’ve seen a lot of your comments and I think your frustrations toward other kdramas or cdramas shouldn’t be brought up here as in this page. We’ve only seen 2 ep and we don’t know yet if ML is indeed submissive and FL is not an abuser as far I concern. If you think this drama is shitty, just stop watching? Because some are enjoying the slice of life drama and the journey of healing process of all characters. I can see that not only Sam Dal has issues, her sisters are as well and her mom and ofcourse Yong Pil. At this point, I feel that you’re just hating this drama and trying to convince others to support your opinion in the comment sections.
Regarding your comment on Strangers Again, I stopped watching that drama because I don’t like FL character, so yeah not everyone is supporting of FL being a trash. I also don’t like FL in NWABU for sleeping around, having one night stand just to show that she’s strong independent woman. I gave that drama really low rating because of that. If you think Strangers Again is a shitty drama, go ahead and bash the drama, but don’t drag along your frustrations towards other dramas here. You keep on referencing Strangers Again multiple times. I can also name dramas that have trash MLs but I won’t because it’s not important at all in the context of this drama on this page.
As far as this drama concern, Sam Dal is just confident and loves her job. She’s not rude and the way she gives feedback to her assistant is for her own benefits on the career and she might be saying extra calling the assistant dung (shit) but it’s because she’s mad that her assistant is crossing the line. On top of the scandal and she thinks that it’s not true, she did feel guilty and remorseful towards her assistant and asked if her assistant really tried to commit suicide because of her.
I don’t see any abusive behavior on her towards Yong Pil. During their first meet after 8 years, I see Sam Dal is being more submissive than Yong Pil, how she feels small infront of him. If she’s the trash FL like we’ve seen in other dramas, she would have yelled at Yong Pil for being nosy but she just kept quiet and talked to him softly. Really your point on FL being a trash, abusive etc is not valid in this drama.
