Bittersweet feeling.
I must admit Wang Yiran and Zuo Yi acted very well. Perhaps because I've been watching a lot of slow-burning dramas lately, I haven't had time to appreciate something as intense. I admit, I didn't feel really involved in this drama; I just enjoyed the two leads' acting. However, the scene where the FL hypnotizes the ML was very poignant, making me quite sad to watch. Was this review helpful to you?

Devil Beside You 2.0
I watched this since the plot reminds me for Devil Beside You.BTS clips are far less engaging than the main series. The plot is rich and the pacing is tight and smooth-elevated version from Devil Beside You. The relationship between the ML and FL is portrayed very delicately. Unrequited love is a chaotic battle, and coupled with the obstacles of their social status, the tug-of-war between the FL and ML is very captivating.
The costumes, props, and sets are excellent, the picture quality is good, the filters are natural making for a very enjoyable viewing experience
Recommended to watch.

Tasteless republican drama.
I want to watch Huang Yunyun with Shen Haonan. The visuals and styling are quite decent to see.FL is a former princess who witnessed ML leading troops to annihilate her family when she was young. She is now betrothed to the ML by the Presidential Palace to be his wife. ML is at odds with the Presidential Palace and initially harbors hostility towards the FL.
FL supposed negotiation condition with the Presidential Palace was to help her marry into the Governor's Mansion. She was supposed to pass intelligence to the Presidential Palace, but she didn't actually do that; she was busy fighting the 2FL &3FL, and the Presidential Palace remained silent . Despite being a period drama, the main plot revolves around female rivalry and domestic infighting, which is both clichéd and boring. Did FL forget killing ML will cause national turnoil? From beginning to end, she did nothing but win herself over and didn't do anything about reveng.
ML knows that the FL misunderstood him as a child for slaughtering her family, he didn't take precautions or explain.
There is no chemistry between Huang Yunyun and Shen Haonan. Purely shallow drama, with zero romance. If you like the actors and are looking for something to watch, you can check out this.

Nice plot but FL lack the charm
I watched this two years ago and was captivated by Yu Peishan acting despite he is being scumbag. FL in here lack charms and her acting is average. Didn't leave me any impression. In her previous life, the FL was disliked by her husband, the ML, and was even killed by his mistress.
Reborn, she decides to distance herself from him and live her own life. She no longer prioritizes his preferences and needs, but instead earns his affection and admiration. SML, knowing she's married, also falls for her. FL divorces the ML and i quite like the ending.
Won't rewatch again.

wont rewatch this drama again.
This is a old formula: the junior sister is treated differently by the entire sect, and the FL is tortured to death before being reborn and seeking revenge. 20 minutes are pure frustration, In the middle of drama attempts to make the second senior brother reflect (but using a flashback mirror to make him realize his mistakes makes it hard to rate), then a sect competition is inserted in the middle, and the last few episodes focus on the master's reflection.Personally, I don't like the FL's character, but it's clear the screenwriter fault and wont rewatch again.

For Trypophobia people, please stay away from this drama.
Warning if you have trypophobia skip this drama, ML's burn sticker, though small, is really triggering.A decent drama; worth watching for the leads' good looks. The whole drama revolves around resolving the FL's family's problems first, then the ML's. It feels like a hodgepodge of tropes from many short dramas. While the plot has many dramatic moments, overall it felt rather bland and didn't really grab my attention. The ending also destroyed the drama.
Both the ML and FL are quite smart and don't do anything stupid; despite these scenes, they don't suffer much. FL's family is completely evil family actually FL decision for leaving her family is smart.
There were also many scenes I didn't particularly like, so I probably won't watch it a second time.

Compilation of Old Tropes
This drama is a compilation of old tropes by Min Jie and Chai Chai. Both of them have great banter but they need to learn kissing lesson hahaha. The entire story revolves around four people: the FL mistakes the SML for her benefactor, and the SML mistakes the SFL for his benefactor.SFL constantly tries to get the SML to divorce the Fl. SFL doesn't love the FL but enjoys humiliating her.
FL actually doesn't suffer because it's all talk and no action, but the verbal sparring is relatively comfortable to watch. ML and SFL, who haven't mistaken each other, are actually the SML and FL third parties,
Actually it was decent drama, but if you are plot-driven or morally right person you wont like it.

Another cliche plot
Personally the plot is cliche--FL is being drugged and got one night stand with ML in the car. Antagonist aka FL sister took FL place and misunderstand between FL and ML keeps happening and the comedy is quite cheap quality.ML characterization was quite boring FL comedic banter wont save this drama (Zhao Caizi has not met her perfect comedic banter ML). The romantic sparks between Luo Jiaqi and Zhao Caizi are non-exist. On verge on dropping this drama.
Too bad there is no grandmas reaction after she learned FL was pregnant.
Maybe hardcore fans could enjoy this.

Eye candy leads with crap script.
I watched it because of Wang Nan and Guo Yuxin was still underdog. The script is indeed terrible. ML cares so much and loves FL so much, yet he pretends to be indifferent and torture FL mentally.
FL is truly pitiful. She has a seriously ill child, is being drained of blood, and is constantly targeted by her beloved. Classic tortuous drama and crying tap challenge for both leads.
I fast-forwarded through this show, just purely to appreciate the good looks of the leads. If you are have some time better look other drama instead.

Mediocre drama with artificial sweetness.
I was so excited to see Ma Lejie in this drama, but I was very disappointed. The plot was so-so, and the sweetness was artificial. It's a cliché story: because the ML d is rumored to be dying, FL marries him as substitute bride of her pampered younger sister, using her medical skills to heal him. Then the sister tries to sabotage the wedding, and the FL gradually reveals her true identities as a jewelry design genius and a medicine god.Actually, the substitute marriage was all planned by the female lead from the beginning to run from her abusive family. The performances of both leads were mediocre; the domineering CEO was annoying. I wonder if higher expectations lead to greater disappointment.
Maybe hardcore fans of both actor could enjoy this.

Bland drama with half-baked chemistry
FL who, under orders from her master, descends the mountain to find the male protagonist and fulfill their marriage contract. ML is lame, short-lived, and has a child (who is, of course, FL's, a casual encounter she had years ago when she descended the mountain, after which her memories were sealed). What follows is a journey of healing, verbal sparring, and face-slapping.The funny moment are sufficient but the chemistry between the couple is almost zero since there is no kisses in this drama.
Only recommended for fans.

Damped crackers
I watched this when i am Jia Yixuan binge watching and realized the ML was Huang Bo.Plot is about FL accidentally bumps into the male lead while delivering takeout. ML recognizes her immediately and kisses her forcefully. Later, ML gives a lecture at her school, where they meet again, and he chooses her as a student. Four years ago, the ML was being chased, and the FL unexpectedly saves him, leading to a gratitude love.
The plot was quite baffling; the first half was better than the second definitely declined. The screenwriter's intentions in the second half were unclear. The pacing was slow, with little ups and downs. The villain's forced entry was a major blunder. Many real kisses, but no romantic ones especially the first scene. The villains have a lot of screen time, and the relationship between the male and female leads isn't sweet. The chemistry between the leads was like eating damped crackers.
Never like ML characterization, he is just straight creep for me.
Only recommended to watch for solo fans.

My comedy side wont agree in this drama
I watch because of Song Yujia and finally got sweet drama with Wang Yanxin after their affair drama with Zhang Tianjing.FL who is a lawyer had a one-night stand with the ML a few years ago and gave birth to a son. To help her client, she goes undercover, only to mistake ML for a gang leader, leading to a series of hilarious events.
Okay the comedic part didn't click me and FL characterization was inconsistent, she is lawyer but she didn't know what ML looks on 5 years ago. ML was too assertive and didn't get his comedic time too.
Recommended to perhaps the solo fans of the actors.

Nice premise wrong execution
While the premise is quite novel, the story wasn't well-told. SML and SFL transmigrated into the book to drive the plot, and their perspectives were clearly those of the viewers – just like us. However, the limited runtime meant that developing the main characters' story while also introducing the second leads felt rushed, leaving neither aspect fully explained. Compared to the cast, the plot was weak, focusing primarily on the conflict between the main characters and their stepmother, with very little development of the main couple's romance. There was almost no emotional build-up or sweet moments, somewhat wasting Liu Qing and Bai Yan's acting talent.Secondary couple felt more like spectators, failing to even advance the plot; the main characters had to rely on their intelligence to resolve the crisis. The actress playing the stepmother overacted;her exaggerated facial expressions always made me sigh.
Don't watch unless you want to see Liu Qing and Bai Yan romantic moment.

Lackluster drama.
Well this plot is too common; FL, after being confined to a mental hospital by her family for three years, is forced to marry the disabled ML in place of her sister. The chemistry between Wang Daotie and Peng Daidai is so-so, lacking a sweet and romantic atmosphere. The overall plot is very simple yet unsatisfying to watch, not highlighting the strength of the ML and FL; their powerful identities are useless.
Anyone who likes satisfying dramas should definitely avoid this.
