This drama is a compilation of old tropes by Min Jie and Chai Chai. Both of them have great banter but they need to learn kissing lesson hahaha. The entire story revolves around four people: the FL mistakes the SML for her benefactor, and the SML mistakes the SFL for his benefactor.

SFL constantly tries to get the SML to divorce the Fl. SFL doesn't love the FL but enjoys humiliating her.

FL actually doesn't suffer because it's all talk and no action, but the verbal sparring is relatively comfortable to watch. ML and SFL, who haven't mistaken each other, are actually the SML and FL third parties,

Actually it was decent drama, but if you are plot-driven or morally right person you wont like it.

Another cliche plot

Personally the plot is cliche--FL is being drugged and got one night stand with ML in the car. Antagonist aka FL sister took FL place and misunderstand between FL and ML keeps happening and the comedy is quite cheap quality.
ML characterization was quite boring FL comedic banter wont save this drama (Zhao Caizi has not met her perfect comedic banter ML). The romantic sparks between Luo Jiaqi and Zhao Caizi are non-exist. On verge on dropping this drama.
Too bad there is no grandmas reaction after she learned FL was pregnant.

Maybe hardcore fans could enjoy this.

Interesting Premises

I was in Tian Tianyi marathon drama last year and found this drama without checking the ML. The plot is amnesiac CEO ML returns to the countryside and lives with an ordinary FL.

The rural life depicted in the drama is full of warmth and harmony, making viewers feel the warmth of home. The deep feelings that develop between the FL and the ML while living together are deeply moving. ML slowly to enjoy his life in rural area.

Tian Tianyi didn't have any sad moment which is kinda ok since its her earliest drama. Wang Hanyang is quite fine and i had no complain with him.

If you enjoy inspirational growth stories, this drama will show you how a person changes and grows.

Mediocre drama with artificial sweetness.

I was so excited to see Ma Lejie in this drama, but I was very disappointed. The plot was so-so, and the sweetness was artificial. It's a cliché story: because the ML d is rumored to be dying, FL marries him as substitute bride of her pampered younger sister, using her medical skills to heal him. Then the sister tries to sabotage the wedding, and the FL gradually reveals her true identities as a jewelry design genius and a medicine god.

Actually, the substitute marriage was all planned by the female lead from the beginning to run from her abusive family. The performances of both leads were mediocre; the domineering CEO was annoying. I wonder if higher expectations lead to greater disappointment.

Maybe hardcore fans of both actor could enjoy this.

Damped crackers

I watched this when i am Jia Yixuan binge watching and realized the ML was Huang Bo.

Plot is about FL accidentally bumps into the male lead while delivering takeout. ML recognizes her immediately and kisses her forcefully. Later, ML gives a lecture at her school, where they meet again, and he chooses her as a student. Four years ago, the ML was being chased, and the FL unexpectedly saves him, leading to a gratitude love.

The plot was quite baffling; the first half was better than the second definitely declined. The screenwriter's intentions in the second half were unclear. The pacing was slow, with little ups and downs. The villain's forced entry was a major blunder. Many real kisses, but no romantic ones especially the first scene. The villains have a lot of screen time, and the relationship between the male and female leads isn't sweet. The chemistry between the leads was like eating damped crackers.

Never like ML characterization, he is just straight creep for me.

Only recommended to watch for solo fans.

My comedy side wont agree in this drama

I watch because of Song Yujia and finally got sweet drama with Wang Yanxin after their affair drama with Zhang Tianjing.

FL who is a lawyer had a one-night stand with the ML a few years ago and gave birth to a son. To help her client, she goes undercover, only to mistake ML for a gang leader, leading to a series of hilarious events.

Okay the comedic part didn't click me and FL characterization was inconsistent, she is lawyer but she didn't know what ML looks on 5 years ago. ML was too assertive and didn't get his comedic time too.

Recommended to perhaps the solo fans of the actors.

Nice premise wrong execution

While the premise is quite novel, the story wasn't well-told. SML and SFL transmigrated into the book to drive the plot, and their perspectives were clearly those of the viewers – just like us. However, the limited runtime meant that developing the main characters' story while also introducing the second leads felt rushed, leaving neither aspect fully explained. Compared to the cast, the plot was weak, focusing primarily on the conflict between the main characters and their stepmother, with very little development of the main couple's romance. There was almost no emotional build-up or sweet moments, somewhat wasting Liu Qing and Bai Yan's acting talent.

Secondary couple felt more like spectators, failing to even advance the plot; the main characters had to rely on their intelligence to resolve the crisis. The actress playing the stepmother overacted;her exaggerated facial expressions always made me sigh.

Don't watch unless you want to see Liu Qing and Bai Yan romantic moment.

Decent Classic drama despite mainstream plot.

It was Zeng Hui-Han Yutong first collaboration and i still enjoy it regardless of mainstream plot.

FL is a feisty and outspoken woman, not the traditional soft and innocent type; ML is a seemingly cold but actually affectionate CEO. The leads are a bickering couple, their rivalry blossoming into romance. The drama employs all the familiar tropes, from a drunken encounter at the beginning to misunderstandings, impersonation, and a series of bickering events, filled with dramatic and humorous elements that keep viewers hooked.

One of classic drama can be rewatch all the time.

Pure Revenge with little slip of romance

I watch this because i like Jia Yixuan and i surprised at the chemistry and how Jia Yixuan dominated Shen Haonan on kissing scene.

FL only seeks revenge, using and scheming against him. ML genuinely loves the female lead; she is the only light in his life. I like FL banter with SML even the force scene wasn't unnecessary.

If you want to see Shen Hao Nan break away from the typical domineering CEO persona, I highly recommend watching this. You can watch it without getting carried away. Although this character is yandere, he's blind, ruthless, and possessive to the extreme. It's not entirely forced love, but he still forces FL quite a bit. Some of the lines are really embarrassing.

I liked the ending, especially when FL acclaimed her lose. Recommended to watch.

Not bittersweet but i don't fond with leads acting.

I watched two other versions. I enjoyed every single one. In the first version, the male and female leads' looks, costumes, and props were a bit lacking, but their acting was excellent. In this version, both the male and female leads are slightly like wood, In the third version, the female lead was too beautiful. I didn't like the male lead's looks at first, but I gradually found him very handsome. The mother became a good person, and the ending was the sweetest in this version.

The second version has less of the bittersweet tension of the first, and the acting is a bit wooden. There are more kisses, and the kisses happen earlier. Several potentially sweet moments were cut—ML applying sunscreen to the female lead, ML worrying about her getting cold sitting on the ground after their argument—all gone. The production team was also a bit on budget; the pet dog was replaced with a potted plant…Everyone become more dramatic, and FL's mother is also more sharp-tongued, leading to the FL cutting ties with her. ML lacked the roguish charm of the previous version; he looked too innocent. He needs to work on his acting.

For three version this is my least of the version.

Comedy turn forced sentimental.

I watch this when i want to see more Li Li Zai works and this works is....mess.

FL transmigrates into a book. The system's mission is that if the male protagonist kills him, she can return to the modern world. The female protagonist begins to seduce the male protagonist to make him want to killed her. But everything she wished is backward. ML always dotting on FL. Plot gets a bit out of control. FL accidentally discovers that the empress dowager plays mahjong, and that the MLt's secret chamber contains a television, a phonograph presented as tribute from a foreign land, bubble drink. And the plot twist just giving meh effect.

The beginning is purely comedic, while the later parts are more sentimental but ML lacks of longing feeling is not making this drama better. Li Li Zai shows her lack of acting skill especially for sad scene make it painful to watch.

Perhaps Li Li Zai fans could enjoy this drama.
