Mixed feeling about this drama.
I was watching this when i still on Xie Yu Wang drama's and found Guo Jing and ends up with lingering feeling.The popular plot about FL and ML met on bed since ML don't know she was his estranged wife. As usual on this drama formula dragged misunderstanding and no communication. For all the Guo Jing's drama, she got the best chemistry with Xie Yu Wang (hope they can collaborate again with more decent plot) and it was her most intimate scene until her recent work.
The ending is ok but not memorable.

Cinematic drama with Great acting.
I watch this few years ago for a while, rewatched again and realize this drama is getting better when you watch this. The Plot was fast paced and there is no dragged time.Zhao Xi Xi in this drama means elegant and Zhen Zi Qi are suited for this anti-hero Male lead. I am glad they didn't dubbed the original voice The chemistry was too sultry and the kisses was nice. Not forget to mention Zhu Zhe Ren one of my favourite antagonist in short drama.
The most favourite part in this drama where every chinese drama drama couldn't beat: cinematography. the director’s camera work was breathtaking. every scene felt meticulously designed. i loved the wide shots in this drama and how they captured multiple characters in one frame.
Recommended to rewatch again.

Too many plot hole on this drama.
I watch this for the first time and This is my Tian Xiwei first drama and i have face blindness with her.The plot is actually interesting about Past ML who are King and his son trying to run away from bandit with horse and they fall into the cliff and they are in the present when FL was to get married to her fiancé only to get exposed her fiancé affair with her stepsister. She wanted to annulled their wedding and thought ML and his son was the actor she paid and run away with them. ML see FL as his late wife and wants to marry her.
Actually i quite like Tian Xiwei acting and her way to make Li Le Yao interesting but Liu Zi Heng was too stiff and there is no chemistry and not even kiss between them. The child is one who can save this drama. There is no explanation of Past FL backstory and lack of their relation with Present FL. The supporting cast are not memorable and antagonist didn't get retribution.
The ending was okay but there is many plot hole about Present ML timeline.

Assertive Prince of Beijing version
Okay since i already watch this drama more than twice i want to write it based from my recent viewer.The plot is about classic Beijing prince plot FL was keeping ML as his mistress and try to stop by paying amount of money and villa while ML was actually Prince of Beijing. FL come back to see her husband aka SML with green tea aka FL fake friend, make sarcastic remark and want to divorce.
ML was not too aggressive but the FL action are quite too sensible since she has gratitude to SML family. The antagonist are quite evil and i don't think they got deserve retribution.
The first scene was aesthetic even there is no too sensual. Qian Zhe and Lu Lu Lu are quite have decent chemistry and their looks are very complimenting.
The ending scene is better than other Prince Beijing version no reminiscent of past scene!
Decent to watch.

Obvious On-Budget Drama
I watched this since i have nothing to watch.The plot is generic story about drugging, one night stand on the street with stranger, and mistaken identity.
The dry kisses are so obvious. The children are too annoying since they forced the mother and father to being together despite all bad things ML accused to FL.
Avoid this drama.

Yeah they named the drama right "Cheesy Plot"
I watched this since they are not less than 2 hours and i dare to say it's don't like because it feels they are using formula plot (kidnapping). I like both of actors acting and i put respect to Lin Rui Xue (+Zhang Bei Xi) for act so professional for playing an intimate scene.There is many steamy kissing scene but unfortunately the chemistry wasn't exist it only full with lust and i don't think ML ever love FL so did FL. Nothing memorable in this drama.

Everything is flat
Ok I watch this because of Zuo Ming. I like the beginning of the scene even there is no intimate scene it feels so aesthetic pleasure to see the shot. Wang Xiaoyi and Zuo Ming unfortunately didn't convince me as couple even as dynamic duo it was below of my standard. The ending is meh and everything is so flat even the conflict are too plain for my liking.Plot wise is generic about FL who was ML secretary hears ML was engaged and want to stop work with him. ML didn't realize he was in love with her.
Deserve to watch only once.

Not fans of the plot but the kisses was too hot
I watched it because of Tian Tian Yi and Jin Jia Yu as always play this kind of scumbag male lead. For the plot, i don't like it because there is missing point about ML father mistress and ML father backstory. FL was not naive, she is full schemer but ML was actually trapped in his own plan.The Plot is about FL who are adopted by ML as her niece since her face remind him of her mother mistress and want her to dissapear. FL knew ML was disguised with her so she provoked him more by being naughty student and flirt with other men.
The beginning of kiss was steamy, Jin Jia Yu knows how to kiss without viewer getting disguised. Tian Tian Yi balance the wilderness of Jin Jia Yu and there is chemistry between them. This is one of my reason to watch this.
Maybe if you like pseudo uncle-niece romantic relationship, you might enjoy this.

Fresh Drama
If You want to see stress-free drama without too much thinking, maybe this drama is for you. Sun Qian Xun never fails to bring joy as Strong FL without being bullied. Li Bai Yan are balanced Sun Qian Xun combo and their dynamic are really satisfying to watch.The plot is somewhat generic FL hooked with ML and she got pregnant and got twins. She got super strength while ML has barely moved due position from enemy.
The Villains are too much and few of them are not necessary.

I watch this when i was on my first month knowing Chinese Short Drama and personally like the plot but there is too long and dragged for my likings. The chemistry is 50:50 for me and i ended up fast forwarding since it was boring in the middle.Only deserve to watch once if you are fans of the actor.

The entire drama is too angst.
I watched when this was released and it was hard to see that without subtitle since my mandarin skill is barely there. Glad i found the subtitle after few months. I love Song Yu Jia acting and Fang Zheng Nan acting is quite decent.The Plot is somehow about misunderstanding about both of main lead dad death, FL and ML was fall apart. There is too angst for entire drama and Fang Zheng Nan portrayed douche ML perfectly. The chemistry and kisses scene was too hot. Song Yu Jia action scene is quite nice too see.
Recommended if you want to watch with gloomy feeling.

Nice Dynamic between the Lead
I watch this since i know Zhang Yi Yang dramas and quite enjoy his acting and this is my first time to see Bai Xue Ru. The drama is decent for both lead characterization (FL is sassy girl while ML is tough but vulnerable). The chemistry between Bai Xue Ru and Zhai Yi Yang are harmonious to watch they can switch how the dynamic duo mode and romantic mode without being out of place. The comedy was not into slapstick , which is good point for this romcon drama.Recommended to watch.

No Romance Chemistry, they are pranking each other
I watch this because Zhang Yi Yang. He is one of underrated actor. But personally i am not fan of Wang Yu Ke Qing acting since she needs to develop her acting skill especially her mimic. Their chemistry is no show any hint of romance. Rather than they are pranking each other.The plot is about FL accidentally see ML kill someone and pretend to be blind to save herself. There is too much slapstick and no character development because they tend too focused on slapstick comedy.
Only watchable if you are fans of the actors.

Decent Reborn Drama
I watch this because of Peng Yao and not familiar with Mao Hao Dong so i give my try and the drama is quite decent to watch. Their chemistry is good for entire dramaThis is Reborn drama while FL has just died without any regrets and here comes ML who claimed to have love her for years regret her death and promise to be better guy for her in next life. Both are reborn and FL are trying to know ML while ML with rough personality feels weird when FL close to her.
I like both main lead character development and the ending was nice to see.
Recommend to watch if you want to see character development in reborn drama.

Another decent classic short drama
I watch this for first time without know any actor names and few years I realized its Han Yu Tong. She always nailed for being strong female lead and there is no romance and only focused on revenge. All of supporting cast are nailed on their job especially the antagonist. The Ending is too cliffhanger, to bad there is no continuation of this drama.Was this review helpful to you?
