Well, I am both glad and a bit worried about season 2 regarding a few things.
Of course one is potential cast changes, which often happens with season 2, I really hope the original cast remain present for second season too.
Another is, this is a type of drama that almost never has a second season, but they are making it. Like it never felt like watching the ending of season 1 that they had been planning a season 2. So, it has to hold the overall quality of season 1 throughout this new season, which is gonna be tough for dramas of this type.
We are getting a Season 2??? Why am I learning about this so late!!! Season 1 was truly the best Superhero show Kdrama-land has ever produced. Hope season 2 lives up to the overall expectation, even if the overall dynamics of the storyline is obviously different for this season. It sucks that the KBS's actor is being replaced by someone else, it truly does. However, with dramas it's not always possible to get the previous actors reprise their roles for a second season due to scheduling and other factors. I'll miss Lee Jung Ha, but overall I am happy that we are getting a season. Hope this season rocks too.
After The Trauma Code, she is getting 2 main FL roles back to back it seems, one is in this drama with Jung Hae In, and in The Long Shot Trial with Lee Je Hoon, two top actors in Kdramaland.
Happy to see her getting more opportunities, she deserves them.
Or a 20. They could have journeyed us more on HDM directing weatherman. Hehehe
That works too. Yeah, I really wanted more episodes to actually watch HDM being HDM during his direction of the film, if they had like even 4 episodes focusing on that period, would have been great. But tbh, if it was 16 ep, I would have wanted it to be 20. If it was 20, I would have wanted it to be 24, and so on. This is the type of show that would just make me keep wanting more of it.
Man, this show is one of the best I've ever seen. A genuine masterpiece that just touch the heart. I can't explain how much I loved this show.
Incredible story, Incredible pacing, Incredible execution, Incredible acting, Incredible chemistry, Incredible music, Incredible directing, Incredible Screenplay (Of course we are talking about Park Hae Young here, she is just Incredible).
Nahhh I’d prefer their relationship to be romantic. Otherwise, we wouldn’t have gotten Hwang Dong Man’s…
Also, "Needing" isn't a bad thing. In real life, we actually NEED people, despite what sometimes we keep telling ourselves. Romantic relationships are often the foundations of positive/negative changes in our lives, it just is. Platonic Friendships, between opposite sexes specifically, usually don't go that far to really bring about those emotions and feelings to really get our act together, in real life at least. Doesn't mean it can't happen, but it usually doesn't.
I can't explain how sad I am that this drama ended. When I was watching the last episode, I am like, "Man, Give us 4 more Episodes, just make it a 16 episode drama."
I really don't understand what happens to MDL moderators every few months, but out of nowhere they just choose a weird-ass picture as the profile-pic for an actor whose previous pic was perfectly fine. Like, WTF???
Okay, Now I get why I get My Liberation Notes and My Mister vibe when I watch this show. The screenwriter for all 3 is the same. I've become a massive fan of her work at this point.
The only reason I am thinking of watching this is the fact that the director is the same one who directed Dr. Romantic and Extraordinary Attorney Woo (well, also the inclusion of Park Eun Bin, that's kinda a given).
Cashero was a major blunder recently, so I am not very optimistic about dramas like this in general. The 2 great dramas on superheroes recently have been Moving and Family Matters. And maybe The Atypical Family, although it's a not a typical high-action superhero drama.
But this director has been making banger after banger for the past decade or so. So really hoping this one hits the mark.
As excited as I am about this one (and shows of this genre), usually dramas like this have unsatisfactory ending, they keep up the excitement initially, only to fall dead-flat during the end. I don't know what happens to the writers, but somewhere in the middle they just start messing things up and make it either a boring, run-off-the-mill type show or give an ending that just doesn't make sense at all.
I just hope they've had a clear picture of the ending (Either just in Season 1 or in Season 2) that they wanna have, and it has to be logical and maintain decent flow and really do justice to the initial intensity.
I would be mega glad if this truly happens. Season 1 had an open ending, I would love to see them back in action again this season. I'll feel really terrible if the cast is changed, it was their overall dynamic that I really loved. Love being at the central theme in all of those cases and showing the viewers the different colors of love through those cases was a very unique approach in a legal drama. It was such a thoughtful show.
And in Season 2 I hope they don't play hide and seek with the romance aspect. It's either totally in or totally out, no in between. If they maintain the quality of the cases and the same cast, I am sure it will be another hit.
Episode 4 was an emotional rollercoaster and it was executed brilliantly. I felt like a mix of emotions, the funny parts were funny whereas the emotional parts felt like someone was pricking my heart with a sharp needle. This in my opinion was the best episode so far. I didn't hope much when I first heard about this show, but it's quality has really surprised me. Great going so far.
With not much time left in 2025 after his military discharge, I guess we can hope he will be making a solid comeback in 2026. I am hoping to see him in interesting lead roles in good dramas.

I think she is also gonna be the Main FL in Our Sticky Love, with Jung Hae In .
So, back to back Main FL role with two TOP actors, that's actually a great opportunity for her.
She is a very good actress and she is finally being recognized for it. Glad to see.
I just loved that reference to MLN.

I am a fan of PHY because of these 3 masterpieces (My Mister, My Liberation Notes, We Are All Trying Here).
She was also the Co-Screenwriter of Another Miss Oh, and while I liked that drama too, these 3 are her greatest pieces of work, YET.
When it comes to PHY, you never know, maybe in the upcoming years she'll come up with another masterpiece.
Incredible story, Incredible pacing, Incredible execution, Incredible acting, Incredible chemistry, Incredible music, Incredible directing, Incredible Screenplay (Of course we are talking about Park Hae Young here, she is just Incredible).
Incredible everything!!!

We don't see that many main roles in dramas often, unless it has omnibus storytelling setting.
