Because if those are what you mean, then (as far as I know) the ranks are:

1. Basic level (where you understand the aura of heaven and earth)

2. Perception level (where you can FEEL the energy flowing between heaven and earth)

3. No-doubt level (where you can USE the energy flowing between heaven and earth)

4. All-Seeing level [or Cave Mysterious] (where you can integrate your consciousness into that energy and use it to attack others)

5. Knowing Destiny (where you know the fate of heaven)

And then I think there are two additional ones called Apocalypse and Undisturbed or smth, the first of which allows you to directly listen to the heavens and the second of which... yeah I have no clue what that one does.

Point is, some people cultivate their entire lives just to reach all-knowing level, and very very very few people ever make it to knowing destiny level, so any realm above that is like... crazy. I think only one or two people in the show ever made it beyond knowing destiny.

By ranks, do you mean the levels of cultivation?

I think you should give it a try, for sure. The comments put me off as well but I tried watching it and I'm currently on episode 18. I think it's great. The drama was interesting for me all the way but it really picks up halfway through.

Had to um, cover my screen for some scenes, but I was actually pleasantly surprised at how good of a story this was. Definitely wasn't just about sex- in fact, most of the raunchy scenes were just Kuzumi's imagination anyway. I know some people were upset at the ending, but I for one thought it was 100% fitting for the story and the characters. Kijima began to accept his feelings for Kuzumi and they both kept in touch long after they parted. I think it sets the scene nicely for the sequel where they meet again.

RIGHT???? Out of all the dramas airing right now, this one is DEFINITELY in my top three. I really like it. I even like it more than some of the HIStory stories.

Then again, the last Korean BL I watched only had 10 minute episodes. I'd say 18 minutes is an improvement --- PLUS, this is the first Korean BL with a full 16 episodes. I'd say it's a miracle lol and I think we're heading in the right direction. I think that eventually we'll get a full 16-episode-1-hour-each-episode series one day. But first, web dramas like these have to do well ;)))
